There was no problem with the Delaware Water Gap.

There was no problem with the Delaware Water Gap. It was very nice. However, I was staying at the hotel because i was moving. i moved out of the house i was living in and was supposed to move into my new house which was not ready and i had a lot of problems with. So I had to be there longer then expected or wanted. However, your staff was wonderful and really made me feel better about my situation

I've lived in the Poconos for close to 40 years.

I've lived in the Poconos for close to 40 years. I needed a place close to LVHN Hospital for emergency operation at 6 am on Sat. That is the only reason I chose this place. I live far up in the mountains and knew I would not make it on time if I left Sat morning so I made an extra reservation for Fri nite. I explained to the nitr manager that I didn't know how everything would go but I probably would not be staying Sat. nite. He said fine. The next morning I spoke to the day manager at 5:15 in the morning and told him that I'm going home after the operstion. He told me it was too late to cancel my nite so I had to eat the $130 for a room I would not be staying in. Then he calls me while I was being prepped for surgery and tells me to call Booking.com for my refund. I eas going into surgery how was I suppose to call booking.com. by the time I came out of Anastasia it was conveniently too late to do anything about it.

It is absolutely gorgeous. We fished and explored.

It is absolutely gorgeous. We fished and explored. We stayed Thursday night to Sunday late afternoon. The park is wonderful, the Rangers are courteous and helpful. Any staff member we spoke to was great. The Worthington State Forest Park Office help was informative, kind and helpful. This was our second trip, both the same length of stay and both times we had a great time. Everyone including other visitors are in a great state of mind. Lots of kids, but they are respectable. Take the trip to visit, even if for only a day trip. There is so much to do. Swimming, kayaking, camping, picnicking and hiking. If you stay overnight, beware of the dirty Roadway Inn, 101 Broad St, DWG. The Clarion Family of hotels are very dirty. If you want COVID19 for yourself and family, stay there, they will happily accommodate you in this area. Really, the place is filthy, not with chunks of dirt on the floor, but they don't disinfect, they leave the blankets on the bed, ours had a food stain on it with crunchy stuff you could pick off. This is the blanket, not the sham. We went to Wal-Mart and purchased pillows, a blanket and some cleaning stuff. I grabbed a bottle of drain cleaner to free up the drain so we did not have to stand in back water during our shower. Hope to visit the Gap again soon providing we did not contact COVID, Impetigo, bed bugs or some other form of disease from staying at a very dirty hotel, but you can do as we did & clean it first.

The hotel was disgusting, almost tripped over the rug in the hallway as it had a huge bubble. The room was filthy, never dusted, used toilet paper rolls in the bathroom, the bathroom ceiling was falling down, the flooring was so spaced apart that there was so much dirt inside the cracks, tons of hair left in the shower drain. I did not stay I canceled the hotel and am still waiting for my full refund. I walked in the room and immediately walked out. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

First off, when we arrived the first thing, I noticed was the gentlemen that checked us in. He was polite and friendly. That was a definite plus. Next thing was the bar that was still open (closes at 11pm on the weekends). There was a pool that was actually in use, so that was also a plus. They even had a little workout room. The place and the room were clean. There were a few areas of the hotel that were in need of repair, but this was minor.

The check-in/out process was very easy. Access to the rooms as well. We loved having 2 connecting rooms which made it easier with the kids. The location is perfect for Camelback resort, only 20 minutes drive on a nice road. The Dunkin Donuts next doors was very convenient and we found other nice restaurants nearby.

Wood floor & no possibility for a dog to go under the bed, which always scare me when my dog goes under the bed in a hotel. Who knows what it can find? In short, it's a perfect pet friendly hotel. Bed sheets were very clean too & I'm very fussy about it. Nice indoor pool with jacuzzi.

This is a vintage resort / motel that's being maintained and gradually improved as a family business. I liked its nice and slightly spooky vibe. The price is right for this area, which is right in the gorgeous Pokonos and runs pretty expensive.

I have a thing for older motels and hotels, so I look for reasons to like places like the Glenwood. Location close to river and little town was nice. Service was friendly. The room was clean.
