It's a great resort for families. The lazy river and pool next to the water slide are heated. Everything in the room was great, staff great also and super helpful. Service by the pool was very efficient. We went out one night to a local restaurant which was great also.

Got a call the day before asking what time we planned on arriving. I told them we would actually be there early and they said they would accomodate us by having the room available early and they did. The staff was great and it is a nice place to stay.

The breakfast choices were great. I didn't care for the egg selection (the potatoes or hashbrowns, whatever they were supposed to be, were terrible), but the yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, toast, fruit selections were great. Staff kept everything stocked or cleaned during breakfast time, Staff was great without seeming to be hovering. Excellent!

This hotel is a gem. It is a beautiful resort with glamorous old Hollywood memorabilia all around. It offers fabulous entertainment with no cover! The rooms are large and comfortable! Hotel service is excellent.

This hotel is a special part of The Desert and Indian Wells...
This hotel is a special part of The Desert and Indian Wells history, while enjoying this property created by Desi & Lucy Arnaz. Lovely property. Well located, easy access from within the Valley, with parking for our visitors. Can entertain friends in the bar/restaurant with an excellent light menu and always great entertainment. The big hotels are too much work with too many people. Excellent choices here nearby for dining and shopping. Vicky's great food and atmosphere next door. Some reviews complain about the parking & resort fees. All fees totaled are still less than generic chain hotels in the same class. Or you can pay 2X to 3X at the Hyatt or Esmerelda, which of course accommodate different needs. IW Resort is a special gem until some generic chain acquires and ruins it. Charming rooms, lovely hotel. Excellent staff and management. This hotel is located in one of the highest median income affluent neighborhoods in the Desert.

Everything takes longer to get to than anticipated due to...
Everything takes longer to get to than anticipated due to traffic lights and slow drivers. Apparently - Thursday nights in Palm Springs has a big carnival and streets are shut down. Parking is impossible. Avoid the area unless you are walking in. Avoid the Nest - very expensive for diner-type food. They cater to those drinking in the bar more than restaurant. We were asked to move tables mid-meal to accommodate a party of 8 from bar. LG Steakhouse is a must! Great service and food!

Lovely area.

Indian Wells is a very small. but very wealthy bedroom...
Indian Wells is a very small. but very wealthy bedroom community, sandwiched between Palm Desert and La quinta. The biggest attraction is the Tennis Gardens that host a national major tennis tournament every spring.JimUnited States of America - 2.0Scored 2.0

Hotel management and security needs to be educated better. Put guests at risk Absolutely so dissatisfied, with the hotel managers handled this situation and our rooms should of been pro rated or refunded.

I have been to this area multiple times for the Indian Wells tennis and this is the worst value I’ve ever had. I paid $500 per night for a room that overlooked a construction site, featured an overcrowded pool, and offered just one hot tub. The quality of the food is unsatisfactory, and the sole redeeming aspect appears to be the presence of Starbucks. I would rate this establishment as a 1-star hotel, and I must admit that I feel I may have overpaid given that the quality does not align with the price point.
