The area is beautiful especially this time of year when the leaves begin to change to Fall colors. The creeks, rivers, the dam, whole area was so clean and refreshing. The museum of Appalachia was closed due to covid but the Lenoir museum was open and it was nice. Plenty of restaurants and hotels with many things to do. Our trip was too short for sure and we will be back!
