Monument Valley is an awesome place.

Monument Valley is an awesome place. We took the tribal sunrise tour and I highly recommend it! We were planning to take the stargazing tour but it was cloudy, so they offered the sunrise tour or a reschedule in it's place. They also offered a refund, so I really appreciated the options..

Mainly a passing town and not worth a night as the hotel prices are pretty steep. Less food choices as well. One way to see this place is arrive in the morning and leave by late afternoon. A few hours is what you need.

Great spot for a tour both a guided and a self guided if you have time. Just prepare for the weather if you are doing a tour on an open bus! Great Navajo guides and a great opportunity to learn more about Native American people.

in order to best take in the valley - I would give yourself a full day to do the scenic drive within the park, and check out some of the other scenic spots nearby. The scenic drive is only available for a short window mid day so plan accordingly. the formations and local pride in the area is very memorable.

The amount of construction around the scenic areas is shocking. I never expected Monument Valley to be in the middle of housing. It was a very sad thing to see. I guess it's the smell of money that changed Monument Valley into a kind of Disneyland. Based on what I saw, I would not make a detour.

Monument Valley is to be experienced!

Monument Valley is to be experienced! We both drove it ourselves and took a tour. I would highly recommend MV Dineh Rebekah (SP?) Cultural Tour which took us behind public areas and we had the attention of a Dineh Guide. It was magical.

The location is the best.. I love the outside of the lodge and the front desk area is cute decorated for Xmas.John Wayne cabin is a plus for me as I love him as an actor. We booked one of the newest rooms in the cabins.. great location by the big rocks.. the outside looks great and the amenities inside ok as it has a kitchen as well. love the mini porch and the proximity to the gas station and the mini market. the view from the cabin is great..

We loved it all: the historical hotel, the view, the cozy cabin we stayed at, for all the 3 nights, with its own kitchen and a porch included. The grocery store on the site, the museum, and the whole valley with its unique history and presence. The silence and the atmosphere of the off season. Some occasionally falling snow and rain just added to the beaty of the surrounding nature.

The view was astonishing! We sat on our porch and watched the sunset on Monument Valley. The location was ideal if you are planning on visiting this park. The room was very well equipped, you could easily stay here comfortably for a few days. The convenience store was located close by so we were able to buy supplies and make a picnic for the following day exploring the park.

The location of the hotel was great. It is very close to The Monument Valley Welcome Center where many of the tours pick up. It is also close to the Visitors Center. There are many amenities on site and they actually offer tours as well. Breakfast was not complimentary, but was offered in the on site restaurant. It was very good. The staff were helpful.

Great location, easy to explore everything that Monument Valley has to offer. It was our second stay and we highly recommend it. The hotel has restaurant, general store, and pool. Everything is clean inside the cottage. All modern and in working condition. Comfortable beds, a/c works perfectly. Nice cozy patio with amazing views. Very comfortable stay.

The view when you wake up is like being in a dream. Overlooking the area with these spectacular structures only seen in Westerns. It was just mind blowing. I have never seen anything like it. The museum there is super interesting to get a sense of how it formed, who was involved and how it evolved. All the the backdrop of Monument Valley.

Great views of monument valley. The hotel as a fun resort-y vibe to it, with a dining hall, movie theater showing old westerns, and a couple of stores including a grocery store. Basically exactly the right amount of cheesiness you want when staying out in Monument Vally :).

We liked our cabin a lot. It was super clean, spacious and comfortable, with necessary amenities. The view from the front of the cabin was beautiful. The surroundings were quiet and homey. The restaurant is the only reasonable place near monument valley to get food.

We had a stunning view of Monument Valley right from our balcony. The room was modern and very clean. We also booked a tour via the Hotel and that was great too. Easy parking right in front of our room.

The views of Monument Valley are incredible! The setting, among glorious cliffs is pretty darn good as well. First hotel I’ve been to in years that still has its own stationary!

House with 3 bedrooms has very comfortable beds and is really big. Even though it's location is between huge rocks behind the hotel, we still loved the view from the terrace!
