It was a basic room with no frills. The bathroom was actually very nice though. It had a lot of room which was perfect for hanging our wet gear after skiing and the shower had nice hardware.

The location, waterbed, kitchen, living room all are great. Mt. Shasta is 10 minutes away, and Hedge Creek Falls is even closer. I visited the falls during a very rainy few days, and it was spectacular! I really enjoyed my stay. I would stay there again.

We were in a quiet chalet on Lake Siskyou and ate at the Highland House restaurant in the reception building on a golf course. Everything was perfect. This was one of the easiest and most relaxing trips that we have taken.
I am excited to have such a great place to visit in that area.I hope that I'm able to visit again in the near future.
Very nice Inn, used by generations. Great view of Shasta and walking distance to town for meals if needed. We ate in our room with microwave, refrigerator, and table and chairs. We only stayed overnight on our way home so visit was not for sightseeing.

We like the city with all its new age type stuff, fresh water fountain always flowing at the corner and great pizza options. I'll leave you to find which one we always go to. We really do try to make sure we get to town before they close. We also like the way the city really feels close to and connected with the not too far off mountain. There are also some really excellent water falls in nearby Dunsmir if you have just a little time and the inclination. Not to far off Mossbrae Falls is really outstanding and there are others, but if you've got even more time, then Burney Falls is just beyond!

Shasta has a great little downtown with shops and some unique restaurants and bars. Yak's Shack is a funky restaurant with great food and outside seating. The area has tremendous hiking and Lake Siskiyou is 10 minutes away and is a great place to swim.
I love the vibe of the place and the mountain, of course, is spectacular! In the winter, there is lots of skiing and outdoor adventures to be had. In the summer you can relax and hike it's beautiful mountain.

Mount Shasta is a lovely little ski-town that offers a lot for people traveling out of the ski season. We stayed in the Strawberry Valley Inn which is a bout 10 minutes walk from out of town and set in a nice garden location. Nearby (next door and over the road) are a couple of great restaurant options. We walked into town and went to a nice brewpub for one dinner.
We also hiked a couple of trails that are short and fairly flat, both were in town.

Mt. Shasta Ranch Bed and Breakfast was the definition of a relaxing and well-run accommodation that surpassed all expectations. I highly recommend this place if you want easy access to mountain activities, or if you prefer to relax on the porch with a cup of tea or glass of wine (and a homemade cookie!).

It is a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the natural features of the area.
A lot of trails, scenic roads and relaxing places.
Don't miss the City Park and the Sacramento River headwaters.
Have a diner at the first Black Bear restaurant.
If you are on a tight schedule, you can miss the visit to the Pluto's Cave.
Hotel is well-managed and very clean. Staff was efficient and friendly, check-in was easy. Room was a standard 2 double bed hotel room, but very clean. Good working microwave and refrigerator. Good supply of toiletries and towels. Continental breakfast was included in the price and had a good array of offerings, plus a box of fresh, local fruit for guests to take along on their travels. Location is just a couple of minutes south of downtown, in a very quiet location.
The location was very convenient, the accommodations were clean and spacious, and Cheyanne (the evening hostess) was friendly and helpful. The suite had a refrigerator that was larger than most hotel refrigerators. The grounds were well maintained with ample seating for guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings. A continental breakfast was available and an evening wine tasting was also offered.
The treehouse is a cool place with an old vibe in the quiet town of Mt shasta. I knowingly overpaid for the last room available, so wont complain about price. It was far more on your website of booking.com
Twice as much actually as directly dealing with the hotel. But, they were full, and booking with booking.com was the only way to access that secret last room. It all worked out!
We stayed in a cabin and it was great to have the extra room and fireplace. We could also park right in front our door, which is nice when it is cold outside. Hotel is a short drive to downtown, but Harvest Restaurant in the property is a quite good option. I specially enjoyed the pasta with duck ragu... My wife forgot her phone in the room and hotel called us on it.
Beautiful, cheapest and great location close to food entertainment and downtown. Wonderful rooms and parking we would recommend this place to anyone going to mount shasta. Great place to stay when planing a relaxing trip, going skiing, for work, or in our case getting closer to the best hospital and staff to have ur baby before induction day. It was great!!!
The room was larger than most hotel rooms, and very well appointed. Separate area with sofa for watching tv, plus nice desk for reading. Good temperature control. Fine shower, comfy bed. Breakfast was more like a bed and breakfast style breakfast in a pretty dining room and a couple of tasty options. I wish every hotel was this!
We were able to park right in front of our room that has been refurbished. The hotel is located on the Main Street in Shasta City. Our room had a peek a boo view of the mountain and there is an outdoor common patio area that looked very pleasant. The bed was comfortable. This property was very adequate for a one night stay.
The lodge is new and very nice. The facility is a good size and easy to use. The lights are on at night, so you can camp safely.
The exterior, interior and souvenirs are all tasteful.
Easy access to Mount Shasta and nearby waterfalls, comfortable to return to the inn and rest during the hot weather.
Really nice property. clean rooms with microwave and fridge. Comfortable beds and pillows. had a really good night sleep. icing on the cake - they have Tesla chargers you can use free of cost. I would stay here every time I come to Mount Shasta. highly recommend!
Nicely remodeled with pretty fresh rooms. The outside area is nice. Beds and pillows were excellent. The room was clean and the internet worked well. The hotel is well located in town and the staff was friendly. Recommended.
One thing I have to mention is the breakfast is so good and they have a lovely puppy. The hotel is remodelled from an ancient house so rooms are on the same level and really close to each other but noise is managable.
The view from our room was amazing, clear view of Mt. Shasta! Room was spacious, clean and everything about the hotel was inviting. Location was great.
We will definitely be coming back next time we visit Shasta.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and nice. I like the vegan soap and the focus on sustainability. The location and view of Mount Shasta was also very nice.
Good clean room, easily accessible from the parking lot, for a very reasonable price. Centrally located for a nice walk into Mount Shasta, the town. And, importantly, pet friendly for a reasobale up charge.
very nice and friendly place nice to have a coffee shop within and be 10 minute walking distance from a couple restaurants. about 20 minute drive to Mount Shasta base
The chalet room we stayed in was awesome! More like a large hotel room, with 2 queen beds, a bathroom with step in shower, mini fridge & coffee maker. Very spacious!
Food was fantastic. I was amazed by interior of the hotel. This place is unique and gives atmosphere of 19th century place. Recommend to visit for everyone.
