This is a charming hotel with a delicious breakfast and coffee. The location is perfect for walking to downtown Petaluma restaurants and shops. Free parking is an added bonus. The decor of the hotel took me back to vacations in France. The room size was amazing and our bed was very comfortable.

The room was comfortable and the high ceilings made it feel spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The fitness facility was nice. The hotel was convenient to historic downtown Petaluma (recommended if you enjoy Victorian architecture) and to the wedding venue in Tomales where we needed to go.

Petaluma is located in a lovely valley with gorgeous country around to enjoy. Good trails, access to nearby Bodega Bay. Lots of great restaurants and shops in Old Town Petaluma. I went for an annual family Halloween Party, so it was a quick stay. Perfect!

If you are there, try seafood! If you drive 40 minutes to Bodega bay, you must try clam chowder at Spud Point Crab Company and go to the next restaurant, Fisherman’s Cove and try clam chowder, oysters and halibut taco!

The floor and shower were dirty.
The floor and shower were dirty. We did not expect fancy accommodations, only a clean, simple room for an overnight stop, but were disappointed by the sloppiness of the housekeeping. The bedspread also had burn holes in it and should have been replaced.
I fell in love with Hotel Petaluma the moment I came across it. First and foremost, what you see in the photos is what you get in real life. It's a beautiful, architecturally unique, quaint, historic hotel with a lot of character, and it is all captured in the details. The cleanliness of the hotel was superior; the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location is close to pretty much everything around the area.
The staff (Allie) gave us a personal tour of the hotel at check-in and accommodated my wife's requested upgrades on the spot. Bravo. The suite was spacious and the black out curtains allowed us to over sleep before we enjoyed lovely human-made fresh crepes and pour-over coffees at their breakfast nook.
Perfect location to visit the Sonoma valley in this clean, comfortable and spacious hotel.
Staff were really friendly with any queries, the outside firepitts were great to sit at in the evening and then pool / jacuzzi were clean and warm.
Easy access to some great bars and restaurants in Petaluma.
The hotel is new, clean and with a full range of amenities. My room was quite spacious, bed comfortable, good WiFi and a well equipped kitchenette. The window opened a crack, allowing some fresh air in the room. Breakfast was fine and there was half and half for the coffee.
Cute little hotel close to downtown Petaluma. The staff were exceptional and went out of there way to make sure I was comfortable. Room was clean & the bed was comfy. Included breakfast wasn’t a full spread of choices but was enough and was absolutely delicious.
Great room they privide earplugs on the nightstand, you might need them because our room was on the roadside and because its an old building you might hear things like cars etc. Location is perfect with lots of parking available around the hotel.
Superb job converting this former warehouse into a hotel. Architecturally interesting. Located just a five minute drive from old downtown Petaluma, it’s riverfront district and river walk and some very good restaurants.
The location is perfect. It is an easy walk to many restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is under renovation. So far it looks very good. It was a nice place to stay and check out the downtown area
We booked this hotel due to its location during our US road-trip. There were restaurants and shops nearby; the highway was easy to be reached but it was silent during the night.
There was no breakfast there and the stay was lovely. Enjoyed the pool. The whole stay was good except the people who stayed at the hotel wasn't as pleasant.
