Most people will stick to the shopping malls and the outskirts but you definitely need to go to the downtown area view the incredibly beautiful mansions of the streets and the centers and see the industrial colonial area by the river. There's also quite nice restaurants that are not chains or overpriced nonesense. It's small, but cute. Lots of cool antiques too

Have nothing bad to say. Would have liked to stay longer, but one night was all we could afford. Just shopping for xmas. Could get hotels at a cheaper rate, but we have absolute confidence in the Hampton Inn chain for cleanliness, and nice hot breakfast.

Plattsburgh was great as a stop on our way to Lake George. Our 2 night stay was more than enough to explore the town, hike around "Point Au Roche" trails and take a day trip to Ausable Chasm. The place we stayed at Americas best value in was very disappointing the room we booked the shower didn’t work then they gave me and my husband another room and the ceiling was falling apart and are door was hard to close…. The purpose of our trip was to rest before we continued our way to South Jersey. However, we DO love this area and wished we have stayed a bit longer. Plattsburgh is the last big city before entering Canada to the north. It is a city located near Lake Champlain. We recommend this area for anyone who is seeking tranquility.

We loved the hot tub and how it was located in it's own room. It had everything included that was described. Although we didn't take the chance to try breakfast due to being busy, it smelled amazing from our room. Loved the access to the pool and an arcade area, even a fitness area. All the staff were extremely kind and we ran into a few issues (of our own fault) that they helped us out with.
