PT PLEASANT BEACH AND THE SURROUND TOWNS / BEACHES, A LITTLE NORTH AND SOUTH, ARE AWESOME ! GREAT FOR FAMILIES AND COUPLES, AWESOME CLEAN, SAFE NEIGHBORHOODS, ALL A LITTLE MORE THAN AN HOUR FROM NYC !! WHEN YOU'RE IN THE AREA YOU COULDN'T IMAGINE YOUR THAT CLOSE TO NYC AND IT'S GARBAGE AND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST AREAS IN THE COUNTRY, DESPITE BEING IN A BLUE STATE THE POLITICIANS ARE TRYING TO DESTROY ! I SAY NOW, THIS POINT IN TIME, THE JERSEY SHORE, FROM BELMAR, TO ORTLEY BEACH, ABOVE SEASIDE, ARE SOME OF THE NICEST BEACHES IN THE COUNTRY, WITH SO MANY GOOD RESTAURANTS, THEY'RE CLEAN AND SAFE ! ENJOY THEM BEFORE WHAT HAPPENS IN ANY MARXIST RUN STATE, HAPPENS THERE ! BUT FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE, IT STILL LOOKS GOOD !

YOU CAN GO OUT OF YOUR HOTEL LATE AT NIGHT AND FEEL SAFE, YOU CAN GO OUT TO DINNER WITH YOUR GIRL AND FEEL SAFE AND THERE'S SO MUCH FOR A COUPLE, OR FAMILY TO DO !! THE ENTIRE PPB, MANASQUAN, BAYHEAD, SPRING LAKE, MANTOLOKING, SEA GIRT, BAY HEAD AREA IS LIKE A PIECE OF PARADISE, JUST 75 MINS FROM NYC !!

The entire beach in front of Jenkinson's Boardwalk (about 3/4 of a mile of the Point Pleasant beach) was closed due to a pending lawsuit from a drowning that occurred 2 years ago. In my opinion, this is a silly response by Jenkinson's Management to something that should be seen as a risk of doing business in NJ. The Boardwalk was open. Had enjoyable family reunion lunch at Jenkinson's Ocean Pavilion restaurant.

Typical Jersey shore town with beaches, boardwalk, marina, gift shops, and lots to do. Love driving through the small towns to the North, especially beautiful Spring Lake. To the South towards Bay Head and Lavallette you'll find gorgeous private homes on the lagoons and bay. Great vibes!

We had the worst beach weather possible but the boardwalk was very entertaining (albeit really expensive). 1 wrist bank for rides was $47.00 for 3 hours! I thought that was outrageous. Otherwise it was a great trip.

Point Pleasant Beach is still a nice place to enjoy the ocean. The area is clean, the Tiki Bar and Grill has a nice selection of beers on tap as well a variety of tropical prepared drinks to choose from. The grill has the usual food; jumbo franks, juicy burgers, hot fries....etc At night families can take the children to Jenkinson's Amusement Boardwalk, plenty of chance games for the kids to win prizes. Night Life is always hopping at Martell’s while drinking and dancing to the local array of Jersey Shore Bands. Finally, a large hot thick slice of Joey Tomatoes Pizza always hits the spot with their delicious toppings!

Although motel did not include breakfast, Our locals restaurants were great and decent. The management was great, I give special thanks to Terry (day shift personnel), she was very pleasant and accommodate me,do to my illness. She even got me with a better room. I was very nervous because I never had stayed at a motel. Well, this place was better than a 5 star hotel. I loved the privacy since it felt like I had a small apartment. The beach and boardwalk were about 10 minutes walk. I will definitely come back.

The hotel was immaculate! Very family oriented everything was kept up at this hotel. The beach was walking distance. The staff was very pleasant. It was very quiet at night, which is great when you have children who are sleeping. The pool was very well kept. I have nothing bad to say about this place for me, the bed was a bit hard, which is not my preference, but everyone in my party slept fine. I highly recommend this place and I will certainly be returning.

This is a convenient location, only a short bike ride (4 blocks to beach), restaurants and convenience stores are within walking distance and boardwalk amusements close as well. Motel is clean and friendly staff. Pool is smaller size but was never overcrowded. Point Pleasant Beach badges not included but badges and chairs are a fair price compared to other beach locations.

Pool was clean , a little crowded it was very hot . The food hut right on property by pool was nice too! We ate breakfast there before beach . Good egg sandwiches and fresh muffins .

The staff could not be any more friendly and were extremely accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, clean, with the cutest beach decor. Coffee was available every morning for the guests. The view of the beach from our room was beautiful, private beach access, and the pool was great. The hotel, beach and boardwalk was family friendly. We will definitely be going back.

Pleasantly surprised at the cuteness of this hotel. We only stayed 1 night but the staff was lovely during that time. The room was modern and very clean. We even had a chance to use the onsite bikes to ride to breakfast in the morning before we checked out. The 5 Ocean Cafe & Boutique had very cute beach accessories and iced coffee/ espresso.

We have stayed at this property many times and normally go through the hotel directly. we went through Booking this time and we’re stuck with a room next to the main property. Although they were book, Amethyst switched our room to the main building.
