We enjoyed the character of the building, and the comfortable and spacious room. Checkin went smoothly and our host graciously arranged for a safe place to store our bidycles. It's great value for money and centrally located, right by the water.

A beautiful heritage home with views of the bay, surrounded by a quaint neighborhood where deer roam free. The gardens are tended to perfection. We enjoyed the farmers market and walking only a few blocks to Port Townsend for a movie and dinner. It was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of Port Townsend.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of Port Townsend. The people were very friendly. Lots of conveniences nearby. There was even a farmer's market on Saturday. Port Townsend just oozes personality. I'd actually contemplate moving there, if I could.

Christmas visit so nothing was open.
Bedroom and hotel were awful.
The room was tiny and bed covers dirty
We spent $240 for 2 nights in a tiny room and squished in parking place.
We will visit a different town next Christmas.

Totally authentic, not touristy, historical town!
Totally authentic, not touristy, historical town! The people and shops are so lovely. The views are beautiful. A genuine coastal town with friendly, kind town folks. The food was amazing. The people made you feel welcome. The downtown area had so many cool businesses and places to eat. Easily navigated by car or by foot from your hotel. The original brick buildings were works of art as was the city’s integration of its history and pride. Ferry is right there to take to one of the many islands. We stayed Labor Day weekend wishing we had booked linger. We were totally surprised it wasn’t overcrowded or overpriced at all for a holiday. Stayed at the Manresa Castle Hotel which was a treat in old architecture part of t he history of the city. Loved our stay and loved this city!!!!!!!!! Great place to get away from the super busy of your life and just be!

Port Townsend is a wonderful picturesque town and if you like wooden boats, it is high heaven. The town has poor accessibility overall, and the Wooden Boat Festival has very little accommodations for mobility challenged people. The food is excellent, and the scenery is stupendous. We ate at the Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant which is owned by friends. Next time I go to the Wooden Boat Festival, I will sail there and stay on my boat rather than try to stay at a hotel. If you can't walk long distances, it is a real problem.

Port Townsend is a lovely historic town right on the water!
Port Townsend is a lovely historic town right on the water! You can't beat the views and luckily you don't have to miss out. The town has several cut outs between buildings that allow you access to the water. Plus, the town and beaches are very pet friendly! If you love history, maritime history, scenic water views with sailboats off in the distance, yummy food and unique shopping, you'll LOVE spending time in Port Townsend.
The room appeared clean and upgraded in appearance. Had laminate wood floors, no carpet. Staff was friendly and helpful, I appreciated that. Was pet friendly, and was 20$ for pet fee, where other places were $40+. Was told not to stay here by locals I spoke with, but I found it a decent place to stay. (I stayed during off season, in May).
Charming old hotel centrally located with an old west feel about it. Rooms have character and are a bit quirky, as is the entire hotel. Our room was spacious, and included a foyer, giving some additional privacy. The decor, too, was a bit quirky and old west. You could imagine the clump of boots and the jangle of spurs in the hall.
The history of the hotel was very interesting as well as being able to see the former original rooms on brief tour. The staff were really nice. Ithe hotel had great character but needs rwork to improve look. The furniture and room has charm. The gardens were lovely but unfortunately overgrown with weeds

Loved the quaint, old feel of this hotel. Had some nice common spaces (mezzanine and library) where you could hang out if you wanted (covid permitting). Location is excellent, 2 blocks from ferry and right in main downtown area. Loved having a fridge and microwave in the room!
This was such a great hotel, especially for the price. Our waterfront room was extremely clean and comfortable. I’m in Port Townsend a fair amount but it was my first time staying at the Aladdin; it will now be my first choice
We enjoyed our stay at the Monarch Hotel, which is a beautiful historic building. The location in downtown Port Townsend was fantastic. We also appreciated the helpful staff for making our stay extra pleasant.
Superb location right at the edge of downtown Port Townsend offering easy, walking access to all the attractions. Superb views of the bay and quiet location afterhours. Have already booked a follow-on stay!!
My wife and I loved the location. We walked all over downtown port townsend. it was also very close to a local gym we went to in the mornings. The bishop is a really cute and unique hotel.
Very nice hotel, great location, extremely friendly helpful staff. Spacious rooms. Breakfast was quite nice compared to other hotels in North America. Would definitely stay here again
I loved the historical building. Our room was spotless. We had a great view of the water. Manresa is close to downtown Port Townsend. The staff was gracious and personable.
