Breakfast was sparse sausage and egg whites? Neither of which I eat. Cereal from a dispenser I don’t use since Covid. So I ended up eating bagel and yogurt. No juice

We liked that it had a large pool for adults and older children, as well as a fun smaller pool that wasnt deep for children and infants. Wish they would have been warmer, they were pretty chilly. Thankful for the jacuzzi.

The location near the dunes and unique restaurants(walk to or several minutes'drive). The setting in the Coffee Crreek preserve which was fun and relaxing to hike around. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We brought our 2 little dogs and there were places to walk them.
The breakfast was part of our stay and was exceptionally good with continental or cooked to order options.

A rather boring place that is trying to make profit after being so close to the lake.. especially national dunes park. Its a bit of a ride really, but it give both benefits of a small town, nice places to eat, various hotels / motels and prices and the rates have gotten a little higher then they used to be.. i think a bit too high.

INdiana Dunes National Park is an absolute TREASURE! Came up for the Maple Sugaring at Chellburg Farm with Ranger Bill Smith and Co. My dog, Bodhi and I had a great time exploring the woodlands and the beaches in Spring sunshine!

The cleaning services need to do a better job.
The cleaning services need to do a better job. The people at the front desk could be at the front desk, no one was there when we got there and we waited to check in. Then the phones didn't work, we didn't get cleaning service while we we were there and we were there for 3 nights. The pool are was nice, the lobby was nice. We also had dead bugs on the floor and in the curtains. Cob webs on the walls and ceilings. Porter did not seem like the best town, Porter Beach was nice but a bit rocky. Lots of fast food restaurants close by.

We had a great time.
We had a great time. We visited a couple of restaurants: Mexico Lindo and Texas Roadhouse. The food and service was excellent at both. We went to the dunes in Beverly Shores and went swimming and sun bathing.
Close to Indiana Dunes National Park. The rooms are slightly bigger than some hotels of this value. After reading the reviews about the breakfast service, my family and I made sure we were down for breakfast at 6:30 am. No crowds. The selections are okay. More than enough food for our group since we were early. On our last full day of stay, one of the guests tried to smoke and ended up triggering the fire alarm system at 5:30 am. Not the hotel staff’s fault, obviously.
Great little hotel tucked info the woods in a surprisingly cute town in the middle of an otherwise culturally devoid wasteland. Rooms are spacious, location was quiet and pretty. The rooms in the back of the hotel face a beautiful grove of trees. The Indiana dunes are easily accessible. Pool and steam rooms were nice. The place cost as much as the sh** motel we stayed in in Buffalo the night before.
The staff is very very helpful, as they can me. I think that the owners are doing their best to get this hotel up and running as a top notch hotel; the wonderful day time lady at the desk came out because i had forgotten my car keys at the desk, and seeing that I was a regular at this hotel, she said she would put a note in the hopes that i will receive a discount the next time I stay there.
The hotel is situated very close to Indiana Dunes National Park and is really cute with lots of parking available.
Our room was clean and the bathroom was nice and spacious.
The breakfast room is spectacular and makes you feel at home with good food.
We were very happy here and it was very affordable.
So glad we chose this property over one of the hotel chains off the interstate. Has a tucked away in the forest feel. Cozy rooms with a balcony overlooking a patch of forest. The speakeasy bar attached has roots to prohibition and Al Capone back in the day. Nice sauna to use at the end of the day.
Very comfortable and homey, great location less than 5 minutes from Indiana Dunes Visitor Center. Good restaurants next door. Nice indoor pool and sauna. Really nice staff. Fridge and microwave in room. Balcony was nice. Quiet, wooded property.
My family and i like the jacuzzi!
But the owner of the hotel keep turning off the jacuzzi and the lights on the pool!!
We have to keep asking to turn the lights on and jacuzzi on
No towels in stock!
Great location, very close to Indiana Dunes. Beautiful trees are surrounding the property making you feel like you are deep in the woods. Charming, old-style building.
