It was very clean. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was adequate and I loved being able to get lattes and cappuccinos at any hour and it was all around. Great stay we was there for our anniversary. We did a lot of sightseeing and having a clean and comfortable room to come back to every night that was really nice.

The property has a lot of potential, but it really needs somebody that cares to take care of it. It was so dusty you could write your name on every piece of furniture. The coffee pot was so dirty it was unusable.I bought bleach cleaner and clean the tub before we showered.

We had a great stay and enjoyed having such a large space and kitchen to make breakfast and lunches in so we could be out for the day. It also had a geocache on site to find.

We were on a site seeing adventure up the Mississippi river...
We were on a site seeing adventure up the Mississippi river and it was a nice place to call it a night. Close to River Road and a short distance to Pikes Peak, spook cave and Breitbachs famous restaurant. (the most delicious homemade buffet ever) and the pies are out of this world! Huckleberry is right across the street and easy to grab a to go and take back to room. Good food. Our next visit we will head into WI to House on the Rock and Big Cat Rescue.

Prairie du Chien has really changed since we were there, many years ago. The elimination of the stop lights and putting in round abouts at some of the streets was a big change. I’ve been coming to the area since I was a child so I just like to revisit. There are plenty of nice shops in the area, and many have been here for years. There are also plenty of decent restaurants. Lots to do outdoors. When you hit a fall weekend with perfect weather, it’s spectacular!

Heated floors in the bathroom would be awesome, but I know how difficult it is to put those in. I am just one of those people that thinks hotel rates are outrageous so I'm probably never going to be completely satisfied. I can think a place is gorgeous, and I have stayed in some, but you pay through the nose to stay in them. But again, we loved the pool and we enjoyed our stay immensely!!LynneUnited States of America
