Downtown food scene. very expensive. Ate cheetos one night. Parking daily was expensive. had to figure out most things by myself.
They kept putting BooKing down. very bad front desk. Two coffee pods in 4 days despite calls. NEVER stay there again. No help w anything. Not medical-centric. I struggled a lot. Asked for a little help. NOT avail I was told.

Only reason to go to Rochester was the Mayo Clinic. However, Booking.com did not give us the Mayo discount, don't know if that's possible through Booking.com. There is a Mayo discount with Home2Suites. Rochester has some very nice restaurants.

Rochester is arguably the most important medical city in the US if not the world. People come from all over the world for treatments at the facilities in Rochester. It is a melting pot on any given day. It is a small city but has everything anyone needs, all within an enclosed subway and skyway system so the weather does not affect movement around the downtown area.

Rochester was a very good place we were there for the Mercy Clinic for a family member. Everyone was very nice friendly helpful that was my first visit ever for me and my family the restaurants were great outstanding number I can give him 10 out of a 10 everywhere we went to eat at we will be coming back again it's not always great visits for what you're there for but it's how the people and places and businesses treat you thank you very much.
We were visiting relatives in Rochester and rented a suite at the Berkman. The space was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. Very much like a little home rather than a hotel. We immediately felt very comfortable. There was plenty of room for my young daughter and I to relax and recharge. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry were clean and modern. The key system was very modern, pairing with a phone. A key card option was also available. An 24-hour automated small store with packaged food and travel conveniences was nice to have.
I especially appreciated the free shuttle service. I was in Rochester to help my son after he broke his ankle and being able to get to a grocery store, Mayo Clinic and the airport was a huge help. All of the shuttle drivers were very friendly and provided helpful information. The room was quite large with a microwave, refrigerator and hot pot. I did not eat at the restaurant on site so I cannot review that. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the downtown area.
Loved that the shuttle went anywhere requested within 2 miles. The breakfast was better than most free breakfasts offered at hotels, had eggs/omelets, sausage, and pancakes daily from attached Twig restaurant kitchen, plus an assortment of pastries, and cereal. Had a nice pool/hot tub with attached arcade for kiddos. Did not use the fitness center but they did offer free printing from the business center (it's just one computer/printer). It was pet friendly.
+ Location is good. There is Target store and Kwik gas station near the hotel.
+ Staff are friendly. I actually had a situation where I forgot my mobile phone in the room after I checked out , Pamela was very helpful and she gave the phone to the Uber driver so he can bring it to me at the airport.
+ Comfy bed.
+ Reasonable price.
I stayed in two bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, LR and kitchen.
It was very specious, comfy ant very clean!!
The price is very attractive for what you get!
Close to Mayo clinic and Canadian Honker restaurant. I likes everything about the hotel!!
Just a perfect place to stay in Rochester!
I would recommend to everyone!
I was at a conference in Downtown Rochester and the Red Carpet Inn was easy to drive to each day. There were many restaurants, a Hyvee grocery and Kwik Trip gas station close. The people at the front desk were friendly and very accommodating.
Wonderful warm breakfast with good service. Hotel very well located and close to the Mayo Clinic . Highly recommended! Rooms very clean and spacious. Fair price. Good underground parking for $15/day. Would certainly stay there again.
The management was very helpful and we really enjoyed the breakfast. It was clean and in good shape. We will use this hotel when we come to town. We come to Rochester at least 4 times a year. We look forward to using your facility.
The lady who ran the front desk was real nice she told me everything I needed to know about the place the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable I would recommend it to a friend who had to go to Rochester
Breakfast was okay for a Rochester Minnesota hotel. Security system for elevators (must use key card) was VERY reassuring. STAFF was pleasant from the desk folks to the cleaning and breakfast prep people.
