Any bad reviews were done by people expecting a 5-star hotel. This is middling hotel, convenient and clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They even accommodated us by moving us closer to the lobby so my 91 year old mother didn't have to walk very far.
All guests were friendly, as well. The hot breakfast was adequate and well provided.
The room was large and provided enough space to relax at the end of the day. Cable was well provided, WiFi connection was good.
I was pleasantly surprised, based on the previous reviews. It was nice.

There was no breakfast, toilet did not work, TV did not work, complained to front desk , he said he would send someone to fix an no one showed up. I call desk again, he said main had gone for the day, he would switch me to another room, which I disagreed, because we had already unpacked and stayed here one night. Very poor service, want my money back for one night or I will stop payment.

I love Texas.
I love Texas. The construction and road setups are much different from our area, but talk to the natives and they'll get you squared away. A lot of nice nature areas, parks, trails. lakes, etc. Braum's Ice Cream and Hamburgers is awesome. Food and ice cream are great, staff great. Definitely worth the stop!! Nick's Family Rest and Catrina's Mex Rest also good and reasonably priced. Texoma area is having some growing pains but the people are great. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO THE VISITORS, THE BEDS HAVE BUGBEDS AND THE STAFF KNOW ABOUT THIS SITUATION AND THEY SIMPLY DON’T CARE. MY SON WAS BITTEN FOR THOSE BUGBEDS AND HE HAD A BAD ALLERGY REACTION. I TAKEN HIM TO ER, THEY TREAT HIM AND HE SPENT 2 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL. Nothing in the vending machines, exercise room was closed, pool was closed. no complimentary breakfast, no ice machine on the first floor, there was a water leak, the bathtub did not work, and the rug was wet and garbage was pile up outside. You really need to come to Sherman TX and see for yourself.

This facility had the dirtiest most nasty carpets, the walls and spots on them. The walls were even dirty. The whole bldg was extremely hot had to move rooms because our AC didn't work. Looks like it was once a very nice hotel with multiple ballrooms but has been very neglected. It's unfortunate because it could be a nice venue.SarahUnited States
