Well for one the old Spanish lady probably in her 70’s would just walk into my room without being invited or not asking her to come in the first place. She constantly kept nosing around everyone’s room like she wasn’t being noticed. The first time she tried to come in my room after I had already said no through the door. The second time she came in i literally had just walked through the door and right when it shut I just had a second to lock the top lock before she came speed walking in and almost slammed her head into the door but thank god I got the door locked just in time be because the way she came in there, she kinda acted like she had the authority over the room and I said excuse me next time you knock on someone’s door before you just come barely in the way you did and so she said OK she left but after that time, I kind of started having a suspicion that they were coming into my room without my permission because that was the second time I was there first time I told her don’t do it from the other side of the door and she still tried to wiggle it open and then the second time I had just walked in turn around, locked the top lock and slam right there she was almost hit her head on and finally the last day that I was there I had a The night before she had been coming in my room whenever I was asleep because sounds just wake me up and it sounds like someone moving so the last day I was there video recorded her walking into my room again but this time I was awake and thought I’m going to leave my camera on in the room just to see you will sure enough the next morning plus she’s not the quietest thing in the world to be a short as she is. It might be all that dark make sure I don’t know, but the point of the matter is she literally was in my room talking to the other girls about my snoring. What she didn’t know was I had planned that the night before and I started making loud sewing sounds, I could hear them laughing Have a laughing by my bathroom

The breakfast was more than I expected. There was the traditional waffles, cereal, bagels, toast and fruit. But also there was microwaveable sausage sandwiches which hit the spot. Oj was good. And yogurts. Bed was comfortable, (king). Pillows were very soft and comfortable. Carpeting was old, buy ok with it. For the price, all was good.

Breakfast was good, especially the selection of tea. We are not coffee drinkers so the variety of herbal teas felt like we were being catered to. Housekeeping staff were outstanding. Thank you!!

Front desk staff was efficient, the hotel was very clean and the buffet breakfast was included making it a great value stay. The hotel was very close off the highway exit which makes travel time good. Nothing negative to say about this place for sure.

Lots of road construction, on a budget this trip, passing through, I think the towels were not washed properly as I had this distinct smell on my hands afterwards, next time I would rather pay more for a better hotel.

The room was nice.
The room was nice. The bathroom was a little small with only a shower, but it suited our needs. The complimentary breakfast was not so great. Unless I got there late, there was no meat or eggs, but there was plenty of cereal, bagels, and things along that line. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay, and I would come back again.

I just wanted to comment about there being no elevator to the upper floors. We had a small suitcase and a few other things and it was very hard for us to carry it up. We are older so I just wanted to make people aware of that. The hotel itself was very nice and the breakfast was excellent and in a beautiful room.

Because we stayed for two nights, we were handed $100 in vouchers to be used at the downtown shops and restaurants. This was amazing! We loved the benches and tables/chairs along Broad St., the trails through Broad Leaf Slopes Park nearby and the Waterfront Trail in nearby Norman Lake State Park.
Nothing went well, as I had advised the Statesville location 1 day prior to my arrival that I would not make the reservation the next day due to the Blizzard in the North on March 3/4. On March 6th the Statesville Red Roof Inn acknowledged my cancellation with a one word “sure”, but still went on to process payment on my American Express card for a nights stay that I did not make after advising of my intended cancellation the day before
The staff were wonderful and incredibly accommodating. We actually left our reservation at the Best Western in Statesville (DO NOT GO THERE!) because it was terrible and checked in at the Hilton Garden. The hotel was incredibly clean, with wonderful amenities. The food at the bar was excellent and reasonably priced! Very impressed. Would stay again and will share our experience with others.
The hotel was in a great location/nice facilities.
We requested adjoining rooms & this was met- however the TV did not work and the AC didn’t work in one room.
I was charged 2 different prices for the same room. When I reported the TV and inquired about the room charges, the front desk was not helpful/did not acknowledge there was a problem or attempt to fix anything.
The staff was friendly and attentive. I would like to give extra compliment to Tim! My power cord fir my MacBook was damaged by the outlet in the room. After coming to the room to check it, he said that he felt bad that it caused my power cord to not work, that he may a way for it to be replaced. Thank you, Tim and Courtyard Statesville
Staff was polite and courteous. It was a quiet environment. The common areas were clean and neat. Breakfast was early 6 AM start. That was great. We could get an early start. The breakfast room was clean and neat. Food was adequate. What you would expect from a free hotel breakfast.
Everything! I've been living in hotels for a while and this one is the best I've been in it makes me feel bad a little apartment and everything is convenient and very clean cleaner than I thought it would be. We will be staying here for a while until we move on out of Statesville
This is a nice place to stay. Was booked to stay at the motel 6 but it was nasty and falling apart. Told the front desk clerk about our experience there so he waived our deposit for our inconvenience at the other hotel even tho it wasnt his problem and he was super nice.
The hotel was updated and very clean. It appears to be an older place however, it has been updated well. The bathroom was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The staff on check in and check out were very friendly.
The breakfast was more than adequate. The hotel is five months old and is very comfortable. Rooms are a good size well appointed and Parking was plentiful. This is definitely a great stay about 40 miles north of Charlotte.
We liked being able to grab a bite to eat and a drink without leaving the hotel. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were very freindly and accommodating in the hotel and the restaurant.
Very good value for the cost. My room was clean, did not smell like smoke. The internet was fast, the hotel was quiet and offered a decent breakfast. Pleasantly surprised, no locals living in the hotel..
The professionalism of the evening and morning staff. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and you have a wonderful breakfast. Thank you so much, I most highly recommend this hotel.
This is our favorite place to stop on our way to Florida. The hotel is a prefect choice for a price paid.
The mexican restaurant on the side is weakly good ;-)
