The female reception staff was one of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met in a hotel in Vietnam!
Despite not having a common language we communicated excellent and patiently with the help of translation Apps.
On arrival I was upgraded to a room with a balcony which was really nice. The room is not really big but very clean and comfortable. There's a big comfortable bed, good WiFi, clean bathroom with an extremely powerful shower with hot water.
Despite facing the main road it was very quiet at night. The hotel is located in a perfect location, walking distance to the local busstation and the Superdong office for ferries to Con Dao.
Excellent morning market nearby, many restaurants, cafes and food stands in the evening very near to the hotel.

On my departure did the receptionist organize a seat in shared taxi to Can Tho which was very comfortable with door to door transportation and not more expensive than the Futa bus. She made sure that my driver knew where to drop me off in Can Tho.

Very helpful and welcoming host family who really wants to make your stay enjoyable.
Easy to communicate in English, lot's of local information regarding food, travel, sightseeing and onward connection available. Very nicely decorated room with a big and comfortable bed, good AC and WiFi, clean bathroom with hot shower. Bicycle available to go around town. Cold drinks available for a very reasonable price.
Located in walking distance to the local busstation and the Superdong office where you can catch a shuttle bus to the ferry terminal.
Soc Trang is a very interesting city in the Mekong Delta region which does not see that many foreign tourists. People everywhere are extremely friendly and helpful and it's really worth to stay a couple of days here if you enjoy getting away from the tourist crowds.
