The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, and it is clear that a lot of thought has gone into what guests might actually need. The views from the living room are lovely. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. There are good walks nearby and it is an excellent base for exploring the region especially as as the Isles of Arran and Bute are near.

The location on the Carnell estate is gorgeous, quiet and peaceful, with birds to watch both out of the windows and on the numerous great local walks. Adrienne is an absolute star, coming to the rescue with good ideas for places to walk and even finding a vet when my dog was unwell.
