Everything on the outside looked beautiful. Gave a good ambience. The staff however are rude and do not help. The dining area with a pianist was marvelous.

Puebla Puebla is a city with a lot of history of the conquistadores. I don't recommend this city to people that don't like to visit cathedrals or churches. My favorite place to eat was El comal delicious sopa pueblana. Very easy to get around down town. You can take uber to visit los fuertes or to go any place you want to visit or take the turibus. Puebla state has many small magical towns and waterfalls. My favorite place was the library Palafoxiana.

Beautiful vibe for a walk, recommend taking a tour with sightseeing bus (we were with Spanish speaking family member so we took the original old bus which has the excursion in Spanish only, it’s an open roof bus and it was fun).
We liked the live concert of Mozart and famous local soprano in the biggest once in Latin America library (unesco heritage), the main square and Puebla cathedral, the museum of railway, and of course, countless churches.

Beautiful town with a great atmosphere - we only had time to explore just a bit but would love to have stayed longer to explore additional neighbourhoods and activities, hikes, sites, etc. Lots of great food and drink options and a great vibe from locals. We loved it here!

Very neat downtown with a lot of museums and history. Also puebla has one of the best food traditions in mexico. to go from one place to another in downtown is easy by foot, going to further locations we've used uber, which was reliable and not so expensive.

Puebla is a lovely colonial city.
Puebla is a lovely colonial city. The city center has been revitalized with great renovations of historic buildings and plazas. It is a great place to enjoy the excellent local cuisine and it is close to Cholula, a city with more churches and a pyramid.

very accessible city but expensive with very expensive poor quality of food. thriving culture and cool vibe in the center. lots of things to do and see lots of shopping. cool parks but I recommend Chalula the little town just outside.
Great coffee at breakfast, beautiful open spaces outside in the garden, excellent attention from reception. When I complained about the noise from the hotel next door they brought me earplugs. The hotel provided me with 2 travel cribs for my babies and the woman who delivered them was very sweet. All staff we encountered during our stay were very helpful and friendly. Check in and check out were fast and efficient. Great wifi speed. The location is central but a good distance from the noise of downtown.
Hotel is fascinating house from the 1600s. Room was more like small apt. Very old and very comfortable. Hotel staff, especially Cristina, went above and beyond to help make our first several days in Puebla super fun and interesting. The breakfast was also terrific. Location was very convenient to the historic center and the Zocalo. Overall — great hotel, great staff and we would definitely stay here again.
The best thing about the hotel is its location across from the bus station. The room is clean but the layout of the rooms face an interior common area with people walking around. The window doesn't open and you keep the shade closed, so it's somewhat claustrophic. But the AC and heating work fine. It's not a place you'd book to stay in the room! The neighborhood is dicey, but the hotel feels secure.
I felt like a princess in this beautiful grand hacienda during my weekend stay. My room was huge and tastefully designed with light wood furniture and pretty carpets, high ceilings, and a large bathroom which felt very pampering after a day of wandering about in the heat in Puebla. The food at the hotel was excellent and the staff super friendly, helping me with my suitcase and arranging taxis.
The hotel area looks great and everything seems new, the same for the rooms. Very clean and had one of the hottest showers I've seen. The staff is very friendly, available 24h at reception and willing to help with anything. Location is very convenient, close to the center although the actual street has some worn down buildings which don't look too nice. Would go back if in Puebla.
Staff was friendly and helpful with directions to get places, find restaurants and getting taxis. Rooms large, clean, and quiet. We had a king size room and had private entrance and private parking. Huge plus since other hotels have little to no parking. Pool was small but clean and my son enjoyed it. Breakfast was terrific. Good location near downtown and near historic parks.
A beautiful hotel in the best location! Very high quality equipment, beautiful roof terrace with pool and very nice, friendly , helpful and good english speaking staff. Staff with style: When you check out, it doesn‘t mean: „we have to check your room“,- no, a friendly girl says: „we just check, if you forgot something!“ Quite typical of this amazing, exceltional hotel!
Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Incredibly comfy beds and the best showers we’ve had in Mexico! The food at the restaurant was so good, I almost didn’t want to eat out (but you have to because hey, it’s Puebla!). The pool area was fabulous. Plus, the staff all mostly spoke English (if you’re in Puebla, not everyone does) and were all very helpful.
Breakfast consists on coffee, toast, and a little bit of fruit on the side. The location is excellent. We had a view of the Catedral Basilica from our balcony. The hotel has a roof top bar, great for a drink after a long day of exploring Puebla. It is located in the historic center, lots of restaurants, museums, city bus tours.
Great facilities. Bed with curtain that guarantees privacy. Rooms and common space are very clean. The staff are really nice and helpful. Also there is air con in every room so the air can circulate at night. One of the best hostels in Mexico and even the world. Will definitely choose it again next time I come to Puebla.
Beautiful hotel in an old building - the location cannot be topped, only 5 minutes from the Zócalo of old town Puebla. The staff is friendly, there is always someone at the reception. In the morning you have free coffee, the rooms are spacious, there is Netflix and HBO. We stayed 4 nights and would definitely come back!
the hotel itself was very chic. it felt like a boutique hotel. I loved the location because we only had one night it was super easy to walk out and find something to eat and do on a time crunch . it’s very central to all the highlights of the city . staff was so friendly and helpful and the garage was super secure .
Loved this boutique hotel! For the price, it was my best stay up to now in Mexico. Staff super friendly and helpful, there was closed parking which we needed due to our cars. And the decoration of the place, so many little corners, plants....and amazing breakfast!
Short term availability of 3 rooms for 3 grown-ups. Swimming pool open air on the top deck, from 5am to 11 pm. No supervision. We received a courtesy from the Hotel as they are celebrating 8 years in Puebla. Breakfast restaurant very clean, good staff.
Everything was perfect, but the two best things were the super kind hosts and the outstanding Mexican breakfast. We had the best time.
Puebla is generally a great city and we’d highly recommend to stay at Luma!
We ate breakfast at the hotel twice, and it was outstanding both times. Also, lunch once and dinner once. The chiles en nogada were the best we have ever had!
We really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi as well.
Good point of departure to visit all interesting places in Puebla. Facilities good enough for a low cost hotel. The guy in the front desk (Adrian if I'm not wrong) is a very gentle and kind host.
Lovely old place in a fantastic location. The dorms are amazing value, showers run hot after a while and the whole place feels spacious. Best value in Puebla IMO.
