The room was comfortable and quiet, and the restaurants in Idre were a short walk away. Grövelsjön is a short drive away, with great walking (recommend the boat to Norway and walking back), but there are other equally great areas to visit as well. Loved being able to fill our flasks with coffee at breakfast too, a very nice touch.

Mikael and his wife, who run the hotel, were incredibly friendly and helpful and are doing a fantastic job running the place and ensuring their guests have a faboulous stay. We did not have a car and Mikael gave us rides and picked us up several times (despite being super busy). It felt almost like we were staying with friends. Strongly recommendedMaximilianSweden
