The place is very clean and the room was fine. The room had a wood burning fireplace and the hotel provided wood outside the door. The hotel is dog friendly which was a plus. It is not a luxurious place but very functional and satisfactory.

Recommend Brios for Pizza and Mexican. Sweet Sue’s for pancakes Great oysters & steak at the Phoenician Steakhouse. Lots of great thrift shopping and local delights on the Main Street. Phoenician Diner is a must.

Phoenica is a small pretty town with a few interesting stores, activities and fast food. Be wary, everything closes down very early. Finding healthy meals was not an option. Only fast foods. We loved the rail bike rides, the playhouse show and the convenience of basic needs with some fun shops. Very very small town of four blocks and it closes down by 7. There are no restaurants/diners around and the prices are steep for a family of 3 adults. I suggest a look at what's there to do in the area prior to visiting. The good length of stay is about three days. Make sure your stay is air conditioned.
