I travel frequently, LaPLaya is one of the cleanest and nicest motels I have stayed. It’s is immaculately clean, the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when I come here. Perfect!!!

Located 10 minutes’ walk from Central Santa Barbara, this hotel serves daily hot breakfast with egg dishes and organic fruit. All unique guest rooms offer free Wi-Fi. Free guest parking is available. Excellent location near the beachfront. We loved the breakfast and how we were received by the hotel staff. We liked that we could get free bikes with the hotel for a ride around town. Excellent value for money!

Less than 5 minutes' walk from the beach, this Santa Barbara inn features an outdoor heated pool and a hot tub. All guestrooms offer free WiFi. This is such a great spot. Would definitely stay again. Lovely staff and facilities. Free drinks were a bonus.

Fabulous hotel. Amazing location. Loved the linen and the beds! And the L’occitane toiletries! Only thing would have been nice to have complimentary bottle of water in the rooms!

Very clean and updated comfortable room. Close to the ocean but far from State Street and cafés and shops. I many of the staff are finally covered when I first arrived, and they were not welcoming or friendly. There was luggage being stored, and I asked if I could store mine because I had to run to a work meeting and I would be back in the late afternoon, and they refused. Then they charged me a $20 early check-in fee and I was only there three hours early. The manager looked at me but didn’t smile and just kept talking to the staff about a training very loudly and acted as if she wasn’t happy that I was there. I felt unwelcome.

We stayed for 3 nights in mid September 2023. The hotel was exactly as pictured when we booked. Light and airy and spotlessly clean. When we arrived we weren't sure about the location, as it's close to the 101 Freeway, but it turned out to be great as you can walk to most of the attractions in Santa Barbara. The staff were excellent. Really good communications about breakfast (which was excellent), housekeeping, night cover phone numbers and even a free glass of wine at happy hour. We stayed in room 9 and enjoyed the little balcony (big enough for 2) where we sat and watched the sun go down behind the mountains.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the Santa Barbara Inn is situated in Santa Barbara, 2 minutes' walk from the beach. Spent my 50th birthday here. It is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Room was very spacious and we had a large patio. Despite being on a busy street we were not disturbed by noise. Room service was prompt and food was good. Staff was very welcoming.
