This guesthouse is such a gem. The rooms are very modern looking and spotless clean. Very spacious room and with great views. Load shedding was not an issue as they have backup generators. Ample parking space. Special thanks to Wendy, the host. She handled all our tour bookings and always did so with a smile on her face. She also gave us all the information we needed and made us feel at home. Definitely recommend this guesthouse!

Perched high above the village, Paradise Private Zen Studios offer studio accommodation with views of either the garden, lagoon, town and the famous Knysna Heads. Free WiFi is available. Beautiful place. The host shared with us plenty of links adapted to what we had in mind and time we were there. They really thought about all tiny details to make the stay perfect (candles & external light as the town is sometimes out of electricity for couple hours, fridge, coffee and granola, salt and pepper, book with all activities around, parking onsite). We are people that are looking at those details and you did incredibly ! All the best of luck with the place :)

Situated high up on the ridge, Strode House offers magnificent views of the Knysna lagoon, the famous Knysna Heads, forests and Outiniqua Mountain Range. It features a private pool with hot tub. The house is amazing, especially bath on the balcony, jacuzzi, pool and inside barbecue. The house is spacious with nice bedrooms and launge area, the host Martin is very friendly and helpful - he let us use the washing machine and the dryier. I left my passport in the house and Martin called me ASAP, which helped me save a lot of time and nerves. We really regret we couldn't stay longer.

Offering an outdoor pool and a cosy lounge and bar, Parkes Manor is a classic, historical house located within 2 km from the Knysna Waterfront. We have travelled to Knysna for the past 11 years and this the best place we have stayed. This place has classical elegance with beautifully maintained gardens.

Featuring panoramic views of Knysna Lagoon as well as the Heads, 6 On Protea is located along the Garden Route, just a 5-minute drive from the Knysna town centre. Room was spacious & clean. Host Anita is friendly and caring. We had a nice patio outside, that was perfect to have a glass of wine whilst enjoying the view of the town and lagoon below. View from the breakfast terrace was stunning (day or night). Even tho, the guest house is a bit uphill, we had lovely walk down to the town.

Double Dutch offers bed and breakfast in Knysna and views over the Knysna lagoon. Set in extensive garden, it boasts an outdoor swimming pool. Very well maintained property. Very friendly, enthusiastic, helpful hosts. Made PERFECT recommendations for restaurants. Many thoughtful details to make our stay homely and comfy.

Cambalala is a luxury guest house ideally situated in Paradise with magnificent views over the Knysna lagoon. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, we loved the spacious rooms, breakfast and the pool!
