We did a last minute booking. When we arrived there Mirela greeted us. She is one of the most fantastic host you can have. Since the beginning of our stay she was always helpful and helped us more than we can ask. Bedroom was good, with a very comfy double bed and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was top quality, with a generous amount of food. Overall, 5 star place to stay. Completely recommended. We will come back without hesitation.

The property is a calm oasis, with a gorgeous garden and beautiful art pieces from around the world on every floor. The furnishings are very tasteful and enhance the Georgian design. Our breakfasts were a highlight,and some of the best we’ve had. Rowena is a masterful cook and baker (her sourdough homemade bread is addictive). Her husband Tom gave us great suggestions on where to go and eat. We wished we had more time to try everything on his list!

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

The establishment was quite small - only three rooms - but that only adds to the charm. The rooms are clean, charming, and equipped with everything you might need, with the exception of a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was very clean. The owner was an absolute dream. She was nice and very helpful. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was delicious. There is a bus stop two minutes away which is very convenient if you plan to ride the bus into the city center. The fare for a single trip on the bus, since it is a Lothian country bus, is £3 and you must have exact change to buy a ticket on the bus.

The staff was very very nice, it was in a quiet, beautiful area just a view minutes by bus from the city center. The bus station is only a view Meters from the property.

The location was great, with a bus stop to downtown practically right outside the front door. The host was very nice and greeted us upon arrival. Parking was easy as well
