Nixon House offers centrally located deluxe 1 bedroom accomodation in Benalla. ( possilbilty of another double room for persons travelling together- please enquire )Comprising of private double bedroom, split system reverse cycle airconditioning and heating. Own bathroom with toiletries,/hairdryer, Shower and toilet. Separate spacious lounge/dining room includes split system aircon heating/cooling plus gas log fire. Flat screen TV, complimentary wifi, Garden and courtyard with outdoor table/ seating outdoor in courtyard and also an under cover area. Provided also are: Fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine(pod) all crockery, utensils. Continental breakfast (dietry / allergies catered for please inform on booking) Off street parking undercover ( can accomodate single car trailer) Own private entrance.
Ann has had extensive experience in hosting guests from within Australia and overseas at my previous properties in North East Victoria, 2 Farm stays one self contained property on a working farm of 600acres, a studio apartment on my smaller property of 40 acres and a self contained historic cottage in Yackandandah. The highlights for me which I love is to be able to provide guests with an enviroment where they feel completely relaxed, taking time out from their day to day lives. Ann.
Nixon House is located in Benalla a 5 min walk to local CBD shops, bakery, coffee cafes,supermarket,pharmacies,eateries and the North Eastern Hotel. The Benalla Botanic Gardens, Art Gallery and walking paths around the lake are a leisurely 15min walk away. Benalla Gliding Club and aviation musuem is less than a ten minute drive, distance to Winton Motor Raceway home to V8 Supercars, historic Winton as well as motorcycles and club days are only an 11 klm drive away. Benalla Street Art and Victorian North Eastern Silo art are all within an easy drive of Benalla your gateway to North Eastern Victoria. There are many wineries to visit and sample wines at their cellar doors, bush walking and also fishing, boating and picnic areas to be enjoyed including the Winton wetlands which is the largest wetland restoration in the Southern hemisphere.
