The quintessential English pub in a quintessential village. Food was fantastic; hosts excellent; rooms were lovely; bed comfy and all the facilities working well. Worth the slightly higher cost for the overall experience.

The Falcon Inn is a country pub and hotel with free Wi-Fi and free private parking, serving traditional British dishes. Large room in a lovely location -the building where my room was located was a former village school refurbished with elegant and traditional design-. Superb cleanliness, extra large bed, great breakfast. If did also enjoy a delicious dinner at the pub.

Situated in picturesque Long Whatton, The Royal Oak is 10 minutes’ drive from East Midlands Airport. With spacious rooms and cooked breakfasts, there is also a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. the staff were very friendly, our room was very spacious and very good parking space for our car; small but nice breakfast buffet with a nice big selection for your freshly prepare main breakfast dish - very nice touch and delicious; also the free internet was very fast

Located just 1-mile from the M42 motorway, The Appleby Inn Hotel is set in rural Derbyshire in the village of Appleby Parva. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Parking was very close to room. Food was fantastic. The dining staff helped me put together a birthday party for my husband - even driving to the store to pick up cakes. They were fantastic. 2nd time we stayed at the Appleby and it will be our only destination hotel anytime we visit my husband’s home!

With freshly cooked food and a selection of real ales, The Star Inn dates back to the 18th century. lovely clean rooms . staff were amazing especially Sonja thank you for lovely stay :)

The Bull’s Head is a family-owned rural pub located within the scenic countryside of Northamptonshire, just 10 minutes from the A14 motorway. Off the beaten path location, bar & restaurant on site with outdoor patio. All employees were very friendly and introduced us to the game “skittles”.

Just 15 minutes’ drive from Leicester’s centre, The Narborough Arms is friendly pub dating back to the 17th century. It offers traditional inn style rooms and boasts free on-site parking. The location was good, the room was lovely and the food was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Situated 1.6 km from Loughborough University in Loughborough, The Peacock Inn features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Great room for the price, wouldn't find anything better for that price
