The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. What can I say. The property is sensationel, the food excellent - the beer as well and the staff are simply incredible, helpful, very friendly and competent without exception. I can‘t remember any experience like that and I do travel a lot. You simply feel at home there. Any time again. If it were possible I would allocate 10 points. Thanks

Offering a restaurant, Tarr Farm Inn is located in Liscombe. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a minibar. There is also an electric kettle. I had dinner here and you know when you really suddenly find a place and absolutely love it but you wonder what it's gonna be like to actually stay there... it was amazing. The rooms and the detail of the historic restoration make it so cozy but it's so friendly. It's chic but not stuffy or pretentious. That's what makes it wonderful. Not just friendly to people but really dog friendly. So you're there in the most stunning setting. It's like being in heaven- you're in wild and wooly, romantic Exmoor where you can sit out on the terrace perched high above a stream and look out. Or go out and walk in the countryside. It's secluded but conveniently located to be able to go down to Exeter or up somewhere else onto the coast. It's just perfect and the restaurant is fantastic and well worth the detour to just to go to the restaurant. I can't wait to come back again and most guests come back year after year...
