We didn't have breakfast. We were freezing cold coming in from Cozamel and dressed in beach wear. The heater worked and there were beds so we were very happy to not sleep in the airport.

It was across the street from 7-11 which was convenient for grabbing necessities. The motel has a laundry room although I didn't need to use it. There is a bus stop right outside which can connect you to downtown Dallas. Also there is a pretty nice park about a 5-10 minute walk away down a back street. Perfect for viewing solar eclipses. :-)

Motel 6 was the cheapest place by far, close to the airport and in the photos looked reasonable. My room was fine , but the elevator was out of order(looked like it had been for a while) and the reception directed me to a external stairs to get onto my floor. The plusses are cheap, Uber Eats can find it, seemed safe and there’s a free shuttle to the airport..EvaSolo traveller
