Boasting a bar, The Imperial Hotel is situated in Murwillumbah in the New South Wales region, 37 km from Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and 38 km from Robina Town Centre. What a great find this was! Fantastic staff, delicious food, great choice of drinks. The room was immaculate, loads of room, with a comfy bed and decent pillows. Great bathroom too. If we had more time we would have stayed a few more nights to explore the town.

Tyalgum Hotel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Tyalgum. Guests can have a drink at the bar. At the hotel, each room has a balcony. Bit of heaven really in what seemed like a secret lost world. Wonderful countryside and tiny town. Hotel - everything the past guest reviews indicated plus more. Super friendly and helpful staff. You are staying in a pub (fairly new renovation, very clean) so it is communal with shared bathrooms - seperate showers and toilets and rooms opening onto a shared verandah but everyone knows that and the other travellers were respectful and friendly if one wanted to engage. Meals are downstairs (can be delivered upstairs) in the pub which is like a giant dining and games room with super friendly locals, again if one wants to engage. Town itself tiny but super nice and receptive to tourists who are mostly drive by wanderers and bikers. Note the bridge on the Tyalgum Road is out and has been for some time so come via Chillingham - a good road and not a big deal once you know ! Very easy drive from Murwillumbah which in turn is easy from M1 (when it doesn't have road works).

Boasting a bar, The Sherwood Hotel is situated in Lismore in the New South Wales region, 30 km from Big Prawn and 43 km from Byron Bay Golf Course. Room was excellent. Convenience of restaurant downstairs which served great food and ease all of City needs.

Jim and Curly the dog were very welcoming. The place is everything you need for a short stay and feels really new and fresh. Even the pillows were comfortable.

Located within 8.9 km of Byron Bay Golf Course and 13 km of Cape Byron Lighthouse, Forget Me Not Farm Cottages features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Coopers Shoot. An absolute gem. Spotless, tasteful, and wonderfully hospitable host. The pristine natural surroundings are nourishing for the soul.

Set just 12 km from Byron Bay Golf Course, 99 Acres Bangalow Retreat offers accommodation in Bangalow with access to pool with a view, a garden, as well as private check-in and check-out. It’s an incredibly beautiful property; everything is gorgeous including the sunrise (driveway is in need of repair). Kahn was welcoming yet discreet in giving guests ultimate privacy. It was a beautiful experience to have stayed there.

Boasting a garden, Grey Gum Lodge is located in Nimbin. Featuring a terrace, the guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Staff on site can arrange a shuttle service. Location was great 500m from town. Lots of parking on street but it felt secure. Nice cottage B&B feel. Beds were ultra comfortable, sheets were velvety, plenty of bedding to feel warm in July, comfy pillows and mattress. Room had air con, tv, brand new bathroom, hot water. And outdoor facilities, verandah and chill out garden were very nice.

Featuring a swimming pool, free WiFi and BBQ facilities, Alstonville Settlers Motel is a 5-minute walk from the town centre. It features accommodation with a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. Excellent location. Easy walk into Alstonville and good access to north and south coasts.

Nestled in the midst of landscaped, tropical gardens, The Arabella North Coast offers stylish rooms with polished timber floors and a private patio deck. This is a great place to stay, we really liked it and the staff are great.
