The room was surprising huge and the view very nice over some small ponds. It was the perfect stay on our way to Bruny Islands the next day. On top of that the staff was really nice and helpful. Excellent location for visiting Hartz Mountain National Park. This is a beautiful old hotel well furnished and decorated. We enjoyed dinner both nights in the bar restaurant and the free continental breakfast is amazing, superior to what one might expect. I was happy they had not only gluten free bread available but also several gf cereals. The breakfast room looks out on a beautiful view of the water.

The Bears Went Over The Mountain offers boutique hotel accommodation in Geeveston's town centre. Each room includes a TV and a private en suite bathroom. We loved the antique, yet comfy bed, the large bath tub, the wood fire & the delicious breakfast that the lovely owner made for us. She also provided informative information on the platypus who live in the local creek. Unfortunately we couldn’t wait for Mr Platypus, so I bought a post card of a platypus photo! Sea view of the coast in far distance. Far away from light pollution, perfect place for stargazing. Good privacy. Wallabies and rabbits roams the ground. Neighbor's llamas could be seen from the room directly.

Set on 12 acres, Herons Rise Vineyard Accommodation offers 2 free-standing, self-contained cottages, located in Kettering. Each cottage boasts either sea or garden views. Breakfast was delicious with provisions provided more than enough for the time we were there and included cereals, fresh eggs from the chickens, the biggest and tastiest mushrooms and best sourdough bread.
