The location is excellent, right on the water of Lake Macquarie, and easy walking distance to a number of cafes, restaurants, the Toronto Hotel, and supermarkets. My room was comfortable, with a nice little balcony. The bathroom was clean and well presented. I was working at Eraring, so the location was perfect to travel to and from site, and the onsite parking is good.

The Gunyah Hotel has an excellent restaurant . The restaurant has great food at affordable prices. The view...is brilliant especially on warmer evenings sitting on the balcony ( Lake Macquarie is spectacular). The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. worth the price. The staff are friendly, professional and happy to help.

Location was perfect, right opposite Lake Macquarie, and able to ride our family's bikes directly onto the bike trail from the hotel in seconds. Bedrooms were airy and had views of the lake. 3 bed unit was roomy. Onsite Teppanyaki restaurant and the coffee truck were good bonuses too

Hotel is perfectly located for what I was doing and looks out across Lake Macquarie. But it was wet and not the best view for the two days I was there. Only three rooms are at the front with a lake view but from the side elevation, you can see the lake. Staff were friendly and helpful

Really well appointed room. Kettle, toaster, washing up cloth, detergent and tea towel. Very quiet and not too far a drive to local eateries. Shower really good with plenty of hot water. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming

Everything!! It was a perfect place to stay on our family roadtrip. Right on the highway as well as on the lake - both were peaceful!
