Perfectly located on a quiet street across from the beach and five minute walk from the core restaurants. Comfortable and quiet, great beds and pillows and we had a top floor room so no noise above us from chairs scraping on tile. Excellent breakfast included.

Boasting an outdoor saltwater pool, free on-site parking and BBQ facilities, Port Douglas Motel is just 3 minutes' walk from Four Mile Beach. In summary everything went well - it was a wonderful experience overall! Firstly the vibe of the place - this is not your standard cookie cutter resort in PD. This has a very unique style with massive murals, funky coloured furniture, and all the comforts. Uniquely, in the pool area there's the facilities of a standard kitchen providing guests the option to prepare their meals (Coles is just a short walk) and relax in a shaded dining area poolside. The pool area had a calming waterfall and it was great to hang out and experience peace and tranquility. As a solo traveller it was great to meet other guests of all nationalities and enjoy each other's company. Staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging my return transportation to Cairns at very short notice - Ruth you're a superstar! The ownership has transformed a standard '60's vintage Motel into a truly unique property - hats off to them!

Ocean Palms Apartments has a patio and is set in Port Douglas, within just 500 metres of Four Mile Beach and 500 metres of Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina. Everything was spotless and well appointed. Location was great, you can walk to everything.

Mossman Gorge B&B is a traditional bed and breakfast in a rainforest setting. Location, facilities, location. On first arrival it appears you are driving into a regular street on a regular road. The property is on the edge of the forest and you completely feel immersed in raintrees.
