1.2 miles from Cahal Pech, Venus Hotel is located in San Ignacio and has air-conditioned rooms. This place has the best view of both, the Square and Burns Street!!! It is located close to everything: bars, restaurants, shops, supermarket, the market, cafes and the bus stop. The rooms are spacious and the beds and pillows super comfortable. Nice-size shower, as well. The Receptionists were extremely friendly and helped me with lots of information, specially since it was a National Holiday and I was not aware that lots of services were not running as usual, so they helped me to prepare and this saved my days as I had to be in BC on time for my flight, they even helped to print out my boarding pass!!!!

Conveniently located a short walk from downtown San Ignacio, Rolson Hotel offers comfortable accommodations and free WiFi access. The hotel was great and the staff were lovely and really helpful. Our room was big and clean. The staff at the hotel were really accommodating and helped us book in some tours. The restaurant at the hotel had really great food - we ate there most of the time (breakfast, lunches & dinners). It was about a 25min walk down hill to town but you could taxi back for 8-10 Pesos. The pool was relaxing and clean as well. I would stay here again for sure.

Had an amazing stay, the place is in the middle of a big green garden where we saw toucans every morning, met parrots and ate fresh grapefruits. The staff were all super friendly. It was a small walk to the center but San Ignacio is small so this wasnt a problem at all

Would recommend 2 or 3 nights here as a base camp for exploring the Cayo district of Belize. Lots of interesting excursions within 1 hour of town. The town itself is nice and laid back with some good, casual restaurant options.
San Ignacio is full of adventurous things to do and wonderful places to meet up and socialize with other tourists and Belizeans. Lots of friendly and helpful people. Ease of communication because of Belize being an English speaking (as well as many other languages!) country! San Ignacio seems to be the center of eco-tourism in the Cayo district. Eva's is my favorite place to eat delicious stewed chicken and rice and beans!
The Mayan are and were an amazing culture. I love visiting this ruin every time I travel to the Cayo District in Belize, Central America.
San Ignacio
Perfect location, nice spacious garden and a great atmosphere that fits in San Ignacio perfectly. But, most important, the owners are a wonderful couple, helpful and truly concerned about the satisfaction of their customers. When going to Belize, don't just stay at the coast or the Cayes, make sure you visit San Ignacio, Cayo and stay at Mana Kai!
San Ignacio
Beautiful property in the middle of the Belizean jungle- impeccable service, delicious food, beautiful lodging, great outdoor activities either onsite or close by. If you are going to Belize, you should schedule a few days in the Cayo district to enjoy the nature, adventure, and history. And this is absolutely the place to stay if you can get in.
San Ignacio
A beautiful, thoughtfully curated, totally wonderful jungle lodge experience. The owner, Claudia, has created a jewel, in the Cayo region of Belize. The food is fantastic, bedding some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and the personalize service is world-class. We plan to come back often, and won’t stay anywhere else in the area.
This hotel was stunning! From the welcome drink and scented towel upon check-in, to the beauty of the property, to the stunning decor and design of the room, everything exceeded our expectations. HIGHLY recommend this location! The staff was on top of their game and were insanely impressive!!!
We loved everything about this place! It is an oasis and a little slice of heaven after 3 days in dusty San Ignacio. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful, the swimming pool is incredible, dinner was absolutely delicious, and we ate it on the veranda overlooking the Belize River. What's not to like? It was amazing. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
It's a beautiful area decorated and planed with love. It's green and a beautiful pool is in the garden Sometimes a horse.
We enjoyed everything during our stay. The food was amazing, our room was incredible, the bed was super soft. Even though our stay was short, we enjoyed kayaking in the river, going on a bike ride, and hiking up 300ft to see an outstanding view of the Sleeping Giant. Definitely planning a longer stay next time!
The views from this hotel are stunning. The staff, especially Alicia and Miguel are extremely friendly and helpful. Miguel organised tours and transfers for me The pools are lovely, as is the onsite cafe and dining room.
The beautiful place in every way.
The place is great and very quiet. The children loved the pool. The restaurant near the pool serves great dishes. I forgot a towel in the room. I found out when back home. It was easy to recover the towel and get it sent home. I would like to thank the hotel people again for this! I will very likely come back to this hotel in the future.
We've stayed there twice and loved both experiences! It's on the pricier end of places that we stay, but reading more about the initiatives that they fund in the community makes it clear to see the value. The people are incredibly friendly, and the food is phenomenal (including meat and vegetarian options)!
Chena was hands down the nicest person and best host. Honestly this is my first review for anything ever so that alone should tell you something... Book it, you wont regret it. Perfect location, very relaxing, no frills stay, Chena bends over backwards to ensure you stay is amazing! Thanks!!
beautiful setting. near the Mayan ruins and caving delicious food and super friendly staff!
