Located on Galiano Island, the hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Vancouver Ferry Terminals. Great accommodation, clean and tidy. Open the door straight out onto the garden area and access to beach. Restaurant was delicious, wish we could have tried the pizza restaurant but it was not open. Lovely coffee shop and book shop short stroll away.

The cottage was well equipped, a 5 minute walk to beautiful shore line, and Ralph and Rocky were helpful. Galiano is amazing - such great hikes, quiet but also with interesting food and culture.

Amazing cottages, great views, lovely peaceful location in the middle of winter. Easy check in with door code. There was a big snowstorm the night before we left, and the staff were very accommodating in helping us leave. Would definitely return.

I enjoyed how friendly and inviting the hosts were. The gardens were a tropical oasis and I had the most wonderful stay. I will definitely stay there again.

Loved the spa facilities (steam room, sauna, etc), the amount of time you could happily spend on site is great. Breakfast was delicious and loved that it was all locally sourced!

Set in Ganges in the Salt Spring Island region, Thistle Dew Cottage has a balcony. This guest house offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Very clean and comfortable. Everything you need and more. The breakfast items and snacks were so nice to have. The owner was so helpful and kind.
