Situated at the base of Kimberley Alpine Resort, Trickle Creek Lodge offers self-contained suites with beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. This is a ski lodge that is probably super busy in the winter but quiet for the summer. My husband and I had been driving for four days. We booked this hotel and the minute we walked in the hotel and room we booked an extra night. So glad we did! Great view from the room on the balcony, clean one bedroom condo. Loved it and would definitely go back. Downtown pizza place was delicious

Located in the Purcell Mountains next to North Star Hill, this ski-to-door all-suite hotel offers a heated outdoor pool. Suites feature full kitchens and extensive views. The properties were obviously well specified when new, but are now a little "tired" with plumbing a bit unreliable, the internet a bit flaky and the furniture showing signs of wear, but still serviceable. For me travelling with two children (aged 9 & 11) who were only interested in very basic catering and getting out on the ski hill it was absolutely perfect. All of the staff we encountered were 110% keen to help in whatever way they could!
