One of Vancouver Island’s most comfortable and welcoming stay experiences, the Old House Hotel has it all: location; spacious, individually designed suites; inviting amenities such as kitchenettes and... It was our first time staying at this property - the staff were lovely. There was a bit of confusion at check-in as our friends arrived earlier than we did and as we made the booking they were unable to check-in without us initially. The front desk staff were able to speak with me over the phone and following their protocols, were able to check-in our friends by using their CC as the card on file. Also, we were given a complimentary upgrade from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite which was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated.

Featuring an indoor pool and waterslide, this hotel is located next to Courtenay Airpark and 1 km from the town centre. Free Wi-Fi and a hot breakfast buffet are also provided. This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, the staff was amazing, friendly and makes customers feel welcome. I will always stay at this location when traveling to or through.

Great place, very cozy and comfortable. The hosts Shirley and Bob are very friendly and nice. We enjoyed the tour of flowers and vegetables garden.

Offering mountain bike storage and an on-site bike shop, this restored heritage hostel is located in Cumberland, on Vancouver Island. It is 35 km from the biking trails at Mount Washington. Gorgeous hostel, very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. Cute little guest garden where we sat and listened to a concert being hosted next door. Great community. Made me want to move in! I was really sad I only booked one night. Lots of interesting things to do around the place, amazing local trails, restaurants and a local museum. Highly recommend a visit to Cumberland and this hostel, it was one of my trip highlights.
