The traditional SPANNORT family home with common kitchen and self check-in is located right in the centre of Engelberg, close to the train station. Amazing value for this stay. We went there with my in-laws, it was very nice to have the option to cook at their facilities the days when we didn’t feel like going out. The staff is super friendly, it’s very well located next to the bus station that takes you to the ski lift. The rooms are pretty cute, a little on the small side but it didn’t bother me at all. I saw some people complained about noise, you can hear what’s going on on the hallway on occasion but it’s pretty well insulated from room to room, so it also didn’t bother us. We would stay there again for sure when we go back!

Hotel Central is located next to the Engelberg Main Train Station with connections to Lucerne, Dallenwil or Stans. WiFi access as well as private parking are offered for free at the hotel. The staff were absolutely the best; accommodating in every way. Fantastic breakfast with eggs made to order and accompanied with everything imaginable. Ski bus was a two minute walk. Wonderful restaurants at the doorstep.
