The location was close to many places to do activities. I think it can be travelled in all seasons, including the spring season. Absolutely amazing! What can be better than having a whirpool, sauna and steam bath inside the room for your pivate use??? Decoration was beautiful and there were a lot of extra facilities: chargers, Netflix, bath products, minibar, tea and coffee machine etc. Bed was super comfy too and breakfast served in the room was amazing! Yvonne cared so much for everything! She made sure that we had everything we needed and communication was superb. We could check-in earlier and check-out later. She even helped my boyfriend to organize a surprise and decorated all the room for our engagement and prepared a fondue dinner for us in the room. I will never forget our stay there 😊 The best place I've ever been to, we will repeat for sure!

The cosy Hotel Derby is a quiet place in Fiesch close to the narrow Rhone river, only a 5-minute walk from the centre. It is the perfect place for your hiking, biking or climbing holidays. The staff was super friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. The hotel is really nice and breakfast is good, would stay here again.

Conveniently located very close to the train station and to the gondola lift to the Aletsch Arena, we had a warm welcome. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The restaurant offers an excellent dinner, with many home made dishes and special touches which are very enjoyable. On top of the usual menu, seasonal options were on offer. We tried the homemade "foie gras" and the marinated salmon. Delicious with excellent service, definitely worth going. The same applies to the breakfast, which included the homemade "Dreikönigskuchen" on top of the regular options (ham, cheese, cereals, yogurt, fruits, brioche, bread - including gluten free...) Excellent stay overall.

The hotel and its design was modern but not overwhelming. The very few cases where a king/queen size bed came with a single mattress and not with double. The bathroom was fantastic too. Staff at the restaurant was very helpful with great recommendations.
