This mountain accommodation is set in a car-free zone at an altitude of 1,450 metres above Altdorf and Flüelen. Berggasthaus Eggberge can only be reached by cable car. Everything. This is a rare and beautiful place- Gaby and Andy have poured their heart and soul into making this a relaxed, welcoming and special lace to stay. Excellent food, sustainably sourced and lovingly prepared. We will be back!

Situated in Schattdorf, within 44 km of Lucerne Station and 46 km of Lion Monument, 54 Hochgenuss features accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private... The glass windows all around the bedroom really delivers on the mountain views. It was like spending a day inside a painting, quite surrealistic! The room has everything one needs for 1 or 2 nights. The breakfast is really good, the staff was kind enough to accommodate our diet requests. Easy parking, easy to find. Easy access from car to elevator and to the room.

Situated in Unterschächen, 33 km from Klewenalp, Hotel Alpina features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The room was big and the furniture was fabulous 🤩 we went for a walk of 2 hours and after that we arrived to the hotel to have a well deserved food and a big glass of beer. Such great food!!!❤️

Dating from the 18th century, Hotel Restaurant Goldener Schlüssel is located in the Old Town of Altdorf in the Canton of Uri. Lake Lucerne is a 10-minute drive away. Driving from UK to central Italy is tiring and unpredictable and the welcome was warm and even left a bed for the dog and a bowl, which saved me carrying up the one I travel with. I will certainly be back.

Located only 3 km from Lake Lucerne, Hotel Höfli is set in the oldest building of Altdorf, dating back to 1768. It features 2 restaurants and free private parking. The staff was fantastic. They went out of their way to make our visit wonderful.

Very spacious but comfortable, cosy and quiet. The location is fantastic. Parking is easy. Louisa is a lovely host and all of the staff are friendly and helpful.
