Located in the centre of Wassen in the Canton of Uri, the family-run Hotel Gerig has a restaurant with a garden terrace serving traditional Swiss cuisine. Breakfast was amazing!! The Chef makes her own yogurt and jellies/jams, applesauce- all delicious!! The staff were all super friendly. The owner stopped by our table every morning at breakfast to ask how we are doing. He is very gregarious and kind!

Triftblick is situated in Gadmen, 4 km from Tällibahn, The property offers during summer a restaurant with a terrace and free private parking. Everything. Very good room with nice view of mountains. Delicious breakfast. Amazing, very helpful staff. I must visit this place again because it was too short.

Location is also amazing since the property is facing the mountains and the property itself is in the middle of nowhere (for good reason) that gives you time to relax. Super kind host.

The owner was very nice and helpful with our unexpected late check-in. A welcome bottle of wine and chocolates was a very beautiful gesture. The large and fully equipped kitchen let us prepare all possible meals. Our family really enjoyed our two days journey in this beautiful place.
