Dating back to the 1930s, Wergenstein’s Hotel Restaurant Capricorns has been converted entirely to run on renewable energy sources. Middag hadde vi spist før vi ankom, fordi det sto på deres nettsider, at det ikke var servering denne tirsdagen, men det var allikevel mulig, og vi var lei oss, fordi menyen så skikkelig god ut (og også etter prisen å dømme). Frokosten hadde et veldig greit utvalg. Det er ett ladepunkt til elbil der (enten Schuko eller Type 2 (til 5 CHF). Er du heldig er det ledig. Halvveis lufting kjøretur opp (copiloten var litt redd, med tanke på nedstigningen, men den gikk greit (copiloten var ikke med, ikke fordi hun var redd, men fordi hun gjerne ville løpe/gå)).

The family room was great, well appointed and cosy. We loved the mezzanine floor for the kids. Breakfast was sensational. The staff were lovely. The hotel and village are quintessentially Swiss.

The situation for cycling the Splügen pass is incomparable!! The welcome, the check-in was friendly and seamless. The room spacious and comfortable… No ‘frills’ i.e. no tea making facilities, no hairdryer… only hand soap and shampoo dispenser in shower.. The sauna and pool are excellent for a hotel of this size… and they even kept it on for us as we missed out (due to Covid restrictions on allowing only 2 in the sauna at a time)

In a historic building from 1828, Hotel Fravi offers free and direct access to Andeer’s public mineral spa, which includes indoor and outdoor pools and a sauna area. Entry into the Mineral bath spa was free for hotel guests, and it is directly attached from the hotel into the spa. So very convenient! The staff were all very friendly and I appreciated the little details such as a welcome note in the room. The restaurant had several options of local dishes so that was excellent to give them a try. There were additionally a number of more unique dishes like the Mango-Chilli cake.

This traditional, country-style hotel in Splügen. It is surrounded by the scenic Lepontine Alps and the popular Splügen ski resort. A great place. We've arrived with bicycles coming through the Splügenpass. It was raining so we arrived soaking wet. The stuff has invited us and shown a secure place to store our bicycles. There's a great restaurant in the building and it's in the middle of Splügen - which actually is not all that difficult since that's a very small village. The breakfast was fantastic!

Only a 10-minute walk from the ski slopes in Medels im Rheinwald and next to the Reno River, this hotel offers a traditional restaurant and simple rooms with an en suite bathroom. Quiet place with amazing mountain view. Small comfortable rooms. Nice restaurant with good meal. Near main road so easy to find and stop by.

The staff was incredible nice and gave me some great hiking information and a trail map. The hotel was a short walk from the train station located in the center of town. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the food at the restaurant was delicious. There is an amazing rooftop room/terrace which was a great place to have a drink in the afternoon/evening. The breakfast was great!
