We stayed at Blue Sea Resort for nine nights over Chinese New Year, and we had an amazing time. The room was spacious with a great view and was very warm and comfortable. It was great to get a nice breakfast every morning, cooked to order. The hotel is right on the lake, in a beautiful and quiet spot, not as busy as the some of the other sports along the lake and was nice and quiet, even during the busy period. It is easy to get a Didi to take you into the old town, that takes less that 15 minutes, so everything is very accessible, so the best of both worlds. The owner of the hotel Mr Young, is extremely friendly, he contacted us in advance and helped us to arrange a car from the airport and from then on was always available to help us with anything that we needed and prepared breakfast for us whenever we were ready in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely be back!

The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and hospitable, treating you like an old friend to drink tea and eat fruits. It is very rare that the hotel staff can speak some English and can basically meet daily communication needs. They can even use translation software to provide you with consultation services on attractions, cuisine, transportation, and more.

Therefore it's a great place to stay at if you cherish your quiet time and are into having a good night's sleep. I stayed at three different rooms and all of them are spacious plus providing all the desired necessities. The cleaning lady does a great job in keeping them very tidy as well. I can definitely recommend staying at "The Deluxe King Room with balcony" as it comes with a lovely big bath tub. The accommodation provides a shared laundry machine and a place to dry your wet clothes as well which is quite handy of course. All in all Jianshe Inn comes highly recommended!!

From the luxurious accommodations to the outstanding service, every aspect of my experience was nothing short of five stars. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kunming.
