I visited Santa Maria and stayed at 7 different, equivalent hotels during the week. Design Suites is the best hotel. The staff is helpful and very nice. I had tv problems and the manager organized help immediately and solved the problem. The cleaning is very good. Overall, the maintenance of the hotel is good. During the week there were several power outages on the island. In this hotel, the business has worked without problems. This indicates a good organization and committed staff. I will gladly come back to the "best hotel" on the island.

There was a lot to like about Hotel Da Luz. The location—with easy access to the Santa Maria city center but also quieter and close to less populated beaches—was ideal. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendlier. They helped me plan my days, arrange services, and book the conference room to hold some business calls. And the restaurant—both for breakfast and dinner—was super convenient and tasty!

USB plus made it easy to charge everything. The breakfast and dinners were delicious and a reasonable price to add onto your stay. Staff was really helpful for addressing any issues in a timely fashion and helping to set up activities. They also gave great recommendations for food and things to do. The hotel is walking distance to the beach. Our room overlooked a lot, not nice in itself, but the benefit was we had an unobstructed view of the sunsets!

Situated 300 metres from Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows in Santa Maria, Porto Antigo Hotel BB welcomes guests with a restaurant and bar. Rooms have a TV. The room was great, kept clean and refreshed. The pool was also excellent and very clean. The location was perfect in Santa Maria. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome for our entire stay.

I WOULDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING AND THANK YOU AGAIN AND SEE YOU SOON
