They are super friendly, efficient and accommodating. The spa is great and clean. Only thing missing as we went in summer is a pool.

Centrally located in the village of Altstädten, Hotel Gasthof Schäffler offers a restaurant, beer garden, and free WiFi. The surrounding Bavarian countryside is ideal for hiking and cycling. Fantastic staff! Incredibly helpful and responsive. They even prepared breakfast an hour earlier than usual for me, since I had an early train. The restaurant was fantastic, especially the homemade vegan burger. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The location, while a bit rural, was beyond beautiful (as is the Allgäu in general).

Located directly at the Marienplatz Square in Immenstadt, Hotel Drei König offers quiet and comfortable accommodations 1.9 mi from the Großer Alpsee Lake. Great location right on Marienplatz. They have a very good restaurant and nice continental breakfast, but there are plenty of other options that are easily walkable. We loved the staff’s warm family vibe.
