The staff were so helpful and very pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens overlooking mountains with rabbits, ducks and chickens running freely. We also had complimentary use of the Turkish bath and sauna. The hotel is on the outskirts of town, about 15 minutes walk to the centre. The room was spotlessly clean and quiet with excellent security. We even extended our stay!!

The hostel is located right next to the waterfall and thermal baths at the edge of town, which is nice and quiet. It’s only about a 15min walk from the bus station, and less than that to get to all the restaurants, bars, and shops. The staff are nice and helped us plan our time in Banos, including recommending an agency that could rent us good quality bikes for the waterfall route. We also enjoyed our breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Only 4 blocks away from Baños's Palomino Flores central park, Hotel y Spa Isla de Baños offers romos with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. It features spa facilities and it is surrounded by a tropical garden.... Everything about this place was a wonderful surprise. I didn't know about the 'spa' area until day 2 but if you go, you MUST try the steam sauna. Also perfectly located for a morning hike up the mountain as the starting point is right beside the hotel. Truly adore this place.
