Hassan also has a great sense of humour and talking with him is always a delight, in addition - his English language skills are fantastic. The hotel is located near the ferry dock and sees quite a bit of traffic - you are going to experience a real part of Luxor. It is a great place to stay for independent travellers who are looking for an authentic experience without tourist crowds. The rooms are basic, but super clean and very spacious, the linen and towels are all clean and fresh; the beds, pillows and blankets are very comfortable as well. You also have a very kind employee Mohammed to look after you - he is always helpful, attentive, and does a great job keeping everything clean and safe. The price for this place is also excellent. The hotel has a large rooftop terrace for sweeping views over the Nile. This is also where a lunch bufet is available frim 11a.m. to 3 p.m. We tried the food there, and were also very happy with the selection, price, and attitude. Yes, we were VERY happy with this hotel team, and could HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to those travellers who appreciate a genuine local hospitality!

Located in Luxor, less than 1 km from Medinet Habu Temple, Rose Guest House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We loved staying at the Pharaonic Rose. The rooms are big and clean, the view from the rooftop is great, the breakfast is nice. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. You can hire a driver for the day to do your visits so you feel more safe. Mohamed was our driver and he was great! He brought us to Denderah which is an amazing temple!

Everything! absolutely everything is great! The peace that you feel is amazing; no noise, not too many people, amazing food and amazing staff. Plus, the Bungalows are lovely. The owner and all the staff are friendly and willing to help, the cleaning staff leaves a lovely towel made animal form on your bed; they offer tours and they have their own boat that takes you to the East Bank. The view is amazing too, we are absolutely happy and satisfied with the place. Thanks a lot!!!

Located at the gateway to Luxor, Al Moudira Hotel is the only palace situated on the west bank of the Nile. The domes and the patios ornate with arabesque makes up the oriental décor. the most beautiful charming hotel with style.

This air-conditioned hotel is in the Theban Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Breakfast was served any time we wanted, even quite early - before six o´clock! Location was excellent for visiting the monuments, temples and the valleys and tombs. Just a stone´s throw away from the most places. Walking distance to Medinet Habu, Ramesseum and, of course, the Memnon Colossi because they were across the street. The building was new and A/C worked well. Restaurant was always open. There´s a beautiful garden between theh hotel and the restaurant buildings. The new swimming pool was near completion in late October 2023. The surroundings were fields where the hot air balloons operated early in the morning. The sight was impressive. The owner personally took very good care of us and helped a lot in finding transportation and other matters. We felt that as guests we were treated like family members.
