El Montero has a fitness centre, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Soto. Among the various facilities are a bar and ski storage space. We love these smaller kind of family run places. Lovely and very hospitable staff. They are really happy to have you. Rooms are big and clean. Breakfast fantastic. Dinner also very good. And it is really very quite at night.

Despite this being a last minute booking he laid on a delicious evening meal for us made with fresh produce from his farm. Our room was cosy and full of character. We were welcomed with a delicious breakfast the next morning. This is a very special place steeped in history and well worth a visit. We will definitely be back if we are passing again as it is a place that we will never forget. Thank you

We hiked every day and slept soundly every night. This place is a gem. We will return!

Mario and Susana were the best hosts, very professional but l also warm and inviting. They were able to recommend many things to do in the area and were extremely helpful. The breakfast every morning was excellent with a variety of options. The facilities were some of the best we’ve ever stayed at. The room was huge, updated, and very clean and there were some indoor and outdoor common areas that were charming and welcoming. The overall feel was very warm and inviting. We will definitely return as this was the perfect place to stay for our relaxing week away.

Great location, friendly staff, good quality for the price. Wifi worked great in the lobby. Not so great on the first floor.

Anna was very helpful and kind. The room was clean. The location was perfect for going to the train station early in the morning. It was easy to find and a quiet area.

Very friendly hosts, exceptional value for money. The building is old and full of character, but the facilities are very modern and high quality. The hotel is situated in a very peaceful and beautiful area. The dinner is both cheap and very tasty. Highly recommend. Also motorbike friendly.
