Set in a castle in the countryside, this property is next to Lake Katumajärvi, 9 km from Hämeenlinna. It offers free WiFi, elegant guest rooms, along with an on-site golf course and restaurant. A large selection of very tasty food was offered at breakfast. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We also liked our room very much - the Golf Club suite was spacious, well equipped and we really enjoyed our private sauna too.

The first thing you notice upon arrival is that all things around hotel are pretty old-fashioned. I would say it is a retro hotel. But if you don't concentrate on lack of modern style of furniture & all things around hotel in general you can see that all services are superb. SPA area is great, staff are polite, friendly & professional, rooms are good & bed is comfy & cozy. Breakfast was simply amazing & location & surrounding of the hotel are breathtaking. :) So I totally recommend this hotel. :))

Situated in central Hämeenlinna, this hotel is 15 minutes’ walk from the medieval Häme Castle. It offers an on-site restaurant and pub. Access to a sauna and indoor swimming pool is free. Breakfast was excellent! We got confused about the parking, got little lost. Parked in the cities parking lot (3min walk) that was free of charge on Saturdays night and Sunday.

Is has served as working camp during wartime, rehabilition facilyty later. Like combination of hospital and farmhouse. Property is really large located in Finnish coutryside, very peacefull and very comfotable beds you dont find even expensive hotels. I got even warm sauna in the evening. This exellent location if you are travelling long distancies north south direction.

The apartment was fantastic - historical and very tastefully decorated. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable bed. The location was excellent, next to the park and easy walking distance to the castle and centre of town.
