Located in Espoo by the Baltic Sea, 10 minutes’ drive from Helsinki, this hotel features rooms with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Guests enjoy a free daily morning sauna and swim. Hotel Hanasaari is not far from Helsinki, yet it feels nice and secluded. We were there in winter and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The room was warm and comfortable. We were only there for one night and did not have time to use all of the facilities.

Situated amongst Espoo’s nature and Korpilampi pond, this hotel is 400 metres from Serena Water Park. It offers sauna and rooms with a flat-screen TV. Both Wi-Fi and parking are free. The location of Hotelli Korpilampi on the edge of a lake is just pristine. The room was quiet. Our particular room overlooked the lake and was near the end of the hall, so we were way out in the woods and right next to the lake. The breakfast was really good--so many options! My daughter lost her phone and the front desk staff kindly called the place we thought it was lost. We only used housekeeping once, and they did a great job. The room was impeccably clean. We hiked around the lake many times, and even though it was raining, got hot in the sauna, then jumped in the lake. This made the swimming pool seem quite warm! It was relaxing to lie in our room with the window open and hear birds chirping and hawks calling out over the lake. We did rent a car and found it quite easy to park and ride the train into the city and take ferry rides out to islands.

With a quiet setting by the Gulf of Finland shore in Espoo, this eco-friendly, elegant hotel offers a restaurant and free WiFi. Great breakfast, the room meet our expectation and we did not use the pool or sauna.

I spent a whole month at Noli Otaniemi. It really exceeded my expectations. First of all, the building and the facilities are very new. Especially, I like the laundry with high-end machines. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. My room was on the top floor facing the sea. The view was quite good and I witnessed the whole process of the arrival of the spring season. It was quite enjoyable. In terms of the location, it takes less than 10 mins by walking to reach the metro station and the tram station is just in front of the building. It is quite near (8 mins by walking) to Aalto University where I worked. I saved a lot of time and money on commutes. Besides, there is a very nice hiking trail with some observation platforms for observing birds near the place.

Finally you have microwave oven, a filter Coffee and a water heating machine. Finally you have a self service kitchen so you can stay there as if you were at an apartment.
