A nice view of the the town hall. The bathroom is nice as well, with a big shower. The room has plenty of power outlets and a comfy sofa.

This hotel is right by the River Pielisjoki and 200 metres from Joensuu Station. It has a restaurant, pub and a nightclub. Free Wi-Fi is included in all rooms at Original Sokos Hotel Kimmel Joensuu. We had an excellent stay here at this hotel. It is across the way from the train station, so it is very convenient. The hotel is large and the rooms are modern and clean. We had great breakfasts and also visited the hotel's sauna for an extra 15 euros. It had two hot tubs, a cold tub, sauna, steam room, and an "experience" shower not to be missed. A great hotel!

We recommend the hotel to everyone who enjoys the peace of nature. After a day's hiking, a warm sauna awaited us. There is a barbecue hut in the yard, where a larger meal is also prepared.
