Simple, clean and comfortable room. The host, Claire, was wonderful - great communication and she went out of her way to help me out during my stay (providing advice on local activities, storing bags, drying some wet clothes). Breakfast was excellent.

The New White Lion is located in Llandovery. Free WiFi access is available. There is also an electric kettle. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. I spent four nights in a well appointed, quiet and large room with an excellent shower. Mark and Karen were congenial hosts who were extremely attentive to my needs. Karen prepared a wonderful breakfast of my choice from her menu. The location is a great choice for exploring the interior of South Wales.

A 4-start boutique hotel with an award-winning restaurant set in the beautiful Towy Valley at the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, surrounded by castles, country houses and the National... We liked everything about this hotel. We paid extra for the SUPERIOR room, you get an extra sofa bed if needed. The room was of a good size, bathroom as expected, with a shower over the bath. The room was quiet and warm The TV & WiFi were great. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, English & Welsh Breakfast options. The evening restaurant was very enjoyable, but lacking in atmosphere due to its size. The breakfast room had great views across open countryside. This is a very nice hotel, and YES we would rebook as it's so good, an amazing find in such a beautiful location, easy for the ferry ports, shopping and access to the midlands etc.

This former coaching inn is set on the edge of Brecon Beacons, in the historic market town of Abergavenny. The Angel Hotel offers a restaurant, bar, and free Wi-Fi. It was a delight to stay at The Angel! From the moment we arrived we were looked after so well by all the fabulous staff at all times of day and night. I can’t thank the kind man who helped us out in the courtyard at three o’clock in the morning and brought delicious tea and a cappuccino covered in salted caramel chocolate! Every part of the hotel is a magical blend of glorious architecture that has been there for hundreds of years and modern luxury. My room was the best! I wish I could have brought it home. With the exceptional en-suite. My bed was so comfortable and the bed linen was perfect! Every need was catered for to ensure the most delightful stay. The Angel Hotel is in the heart of Abergavenny, allowing such easy access to anywhere in the town. It was the best holiday in a place that I love. Staying in the Hotel made absolutely perfect.

The Castle Hotel has a shared lounge, restaurant, a bar and water sports facilities in Talgarth. So comfortable and friendly. Every thing was nice, rooms, breakfast, location, and their fish and chip shop was the best.

In Hay-on-Wye, The Swan at Hay is positioned between the Brecon Beacons and The Black Mountains. Wonderful staff, beautiful old building just on the edge of Hay, nice restaurant and bar, nice outdoor seating, quiet, pretty surroundings, staff that really went above and beyond, onsite parking.

In Crickhowell, in the Brecon Beacons, The Bear dates back to 1432. Expect a welcoming atmosphere, old world charm and good food. Awarded Inn of the Year 2010 by the Good Pub Guide. History and character of the inn were superb. Excellent restaurant.
