Boasting wonderful views across the Stour and Box river valleys, this privately owned inn is set on a hill in the picturesque village of Stoke-by-Nayland, on the Essex and Suffolk border. Breakfasts were very good , made with local produce, I think . (apart from the baked beans). The staff were friendly and prompt. Very impressed. The rooms were lovely and quiet, not too close to the pub.

Situated 18 km from Hedingham Castle, The Foxes Den features accommodation in Assington with access to a hot tub. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Great location and room. An absolutely amazing breakfast!! Hosts were very nice too.
